I have absolutely no idea why a metal object made in China is a problem. Do you realize that virtually EVERYTHING you use or wear today (clothes, shoes, small appliances, phones, etc. etc. etc) is made in that country thanks to big corporations trying to maximize their profits. Granted I definitely do not like to swallow anything made there but even then I regretfully do not always have a choice. And yes, the Chinese do make some tawdry stuff but the curtains all through my house are beautiful and 1/3 the the price I would have paid at Penney's. Every time I cut my nails I am grateful for the sharpest and best pair of clippers I have ever owned. made and sold by a Chinese company. If you want to avoin EVERYTHING that is manufactured in China I am afraid you would have to move to a log cabin in the wilderness and make everything yourself. Sad but true.

Not What I Thought... But Still Tiny

Okay, so I bought these thinking they’d be perfect as small scoops for mycology. You know, something to handle my substrates and cultures. I was wrong. These little scoops are tiny—I mean, really tiny. I was expecting something a bit more substantial, but these feel more like a dollhouse utensil than a mycology tool.If you're looking to fill pills or perhaps scoop a speck of dust, these are perfect. But for mycology? Not so much. They’re just too small for what I had in mind.I’ll be returning these, but I’m sure they’ll be great for someone looking for super micro scoops—just not me. So, if you’re into precision the size of an ant's lunch, these might be your dream scoop. For me, it’s a pass.
