Bachmann Trains - THOMAS & FRIENDS SODOR FUEL TANK - HO Scale

First of all, I don't work for Bachmann...no affiliation. I have had a number of HO train sets, to include Marklin (German). All of the Bachmann train components that I have purchased thus far, have been very high quality. Thsi includes the transformer, the track, the engines, and cars. It's a great value, and I will be buying more components. My 3 1/2 year old grandson loves the train, and has no difficulty with it. He needs some help with putting cars on the track, but other than that, can operate it himself. Thomas and friends is a huge hit, and I recommend this set to anyone with little people who love trains.

This is a finely manufactured piece of train gear and looks great on my railroad. I could not be more satisfied with the product.

My Grandsons like long trains so I bought several "Thomas" cars to go with the HO scale starter set I purchased for Christmas. The only problem I have with this item is the problem I have with the set--it is difficult to uncouple the cars. I devised a tool from some flat aluminum stock to insert under the couplers which I can use to un-couple the cars; however, my 5-year-old Grandsons find it difficult to use. They find it frustrating, but they haven't broken one yet. I guess that's good.

My grandson loves anything trains and he loves the Sodor Fuel Tank car and plays with his trains quite often!

Cute. It adds color to the train display, but you are paying for the Thomas name. It would have been rated higher if the price were lower.
