It went together quickly. The frame was a snug fit but it went in after a bit of struggling. Once finished, it looked really nice. My 8-1/2 lb. cat snuck inside it to check it out and had a little snooze. After battling with my 2 cats getting them into hard shell plastic carriers, this is a welcome change. Now, they won't be completely traumatized next time I take them to the vet. For the price, I can't complain. It's well made and designed. It's a little small (17x10x12) for my 15 pounder kitty so I'll have to find another fabric one for him. I'm really glad I made the change to this type of carrier and so are my cats! Recommended.***UPDATE***I bought the larger Sercove carrier (grey 19x12x12) as well. Really well-made with 5 separate openings. The frame went together quickly and after a little prodding and pushing, I had it inserted into the carrier. Overall, very impressive product. Sturdy and well designed and......big enough for for my 15 pound tabby. Both my kitties HATE the solid plastic carriers and they freak out whenever I need to take them to the vet. These soft fabric ones they really like and take turns snoozing in them in my bedroom. These are great carriers for not a lot of money. Both are recommended depending on the size you need.

I had been a bit skeptical about the weight it could hold. The last carier I had, my cat (12lbs) had quickly tried to sit on top and deformed it within the first few days. I had hoped this could hold him on top and in it, but had low expectations for the first. As you can see, he is very happy with it and loves to lay on top, and in! Exceeded my expectations AND within the height requirement for the airline I take with him. Plus, the plastic pad and cover for the bottom is incredibly helpful in case of any accidents. Super easy instructions, pretty fun to put together if you like simple pole connection stuff, haha. 100% recommend!!!

Has been great taking cats back and forth

I haven't actually taken it anywhere, but so far it's sturdy, and I believe the green bottom part is washable which is handy. Putting it together was really easy. The zippers are a little difficult to open (for me) but not too bad. The pockets are nice for small things, but not too much room. The portability of it is pretty good. I like the two strap options.

I had a soft carrier but it started folding in on my fur baby plus it was a bit small since we didn't want to try another hard carrier since the last time he totally freaked out. I tried this one the bigger option since he is 19lbs and 22in from his shoulders to his rump so a bit larger than normal lol. He didn't freak out and I was pleased with the soft bottom that can be slid out and the cover can be tossed in the washer when needed. His old carrier didn't have anything in the bottom and it was to tight to put anything in there. Which sucked since all he had to rest on was that cold fabric the keep folding every time he moved. Plus the soft without a farme put him at great risk of being squished. This one was a perfect blend of hard and soft. He has only had to go to the vet 4 times so I can't say how it will do long term but so far so good.

Good size cat carrier with lots of space and a wire frame that keeps its shape so the cat feels secure while traveling! Love it!

I had never purchased a cat carrier before, so I wasn't sure what to look for. I wanted something that was sturdy enough for travel, and I liked that this had an actual frame to it. It was easy to assemble, and is structurally sound. Very happy with the quality.

Wow.. I bought this one last minute as my original cat carrier was too big compared to the airline limits and it just barely fit under the front seat but is also slightly on the right side for my 18lb, 18" Bengal. He did ok on a 2 h flight - I probably wouldn't take him on a longer one anyways.. I liked how light the carrier is a well but again, I'd only use this for flights.. Its too right for regular use imo

Easy to assemble and very lightweight. Convenient to carry, but its compactness calls for short trips only, otherwise a cat won't have much space to stretch.

Haven’t had to carry the cats since purchase but it seems way easier to use than thale hard plastic ones

It was very poorly made. It didn't last long but still worth the money.
