Maddox Recliner and Swivel Glider

Size and comfort is just right for the bedroom. This chair is the perfect size for a small space. All the comfort of a larger recliner in a compact size.* Shipping - arrived a week earlier than expected.* Assembly - took less than five minutes. Took longer to take it out of the box than to put it together.* Comfort - I'm 5'6" and 200lbs. Still plenty of room and does not sit too low to the floor. Perfect height and seat depth for me and I have long legs for my height. Also the cushion feels like it will hold up well, but time will tell.* Features - Glide is smooth and quiet! Recliner is easy to engage as lever is on the inside of chair. When reclined it stays up securely and is easy to put down. Swivel is smooth and convenient for positioning in a small space for switching between watching tv, crafts, reading etc...Size - as Goldilocks said "this one is just right". My little Frenchie Earl would like more room for him but we still fit snuggly together.

Now that I have had this chair for over a year, I feel like I can give it a very honest and thorough review. This chair is FANTASTIC. It is comfortable for both me (tiny human) and my husband (taller dude). We have slept in this chair more times than we can count. It can spin in circles, rocks, etc. Highly recommend it and highly recommend the leather as our little one has spit up on this/vomited on this so many times and its so easy to clean up and doesnt stain at all. The only negative, and it is a very small negative, is that sometimes when my kid is fighting sleep he likes to do the scratchy scratchy on the chair and that does leave marks. But given the look of the leather it is not very obvious unless you are looking right at it.Oh and if you have a light sleeper, when you close the foot rest it does make a noise that I could see would wake up a light sleeper. My kid sleeps through basically everything and it doesnt really effect him but just wanted to mention for all the mommas of light sleepers.

I have been meaning to write this review for a while. I didn’t wanna write it too soon without really knowing how he liked it, but not too long to try and help others decide. I really wanted a chair to be able to rock our baby in that was a lot more comfortable for me this time. The last time I had a glider and it really was uncomfortable and things like it didn’t seem to fit my hips and stuff. I just remembered after having my daughter not being comfortable in it whatsoever and didn’t want that to happen again. I was skeptical about buying online, but all of the places around us didn’t have any type of chair like this. It had a very wide window of delivery, but I was so thankful that it came even sooner than expected. The only thing that was really concerning I showed pictured was that the box came pretty heavily damaged when it did arrive. This was not the only spot that was on the box either. I just went and did it mess with it hard and one side of the box fell off. so I was very thankful when we opened it up to find that everything was there and there wasn’t anything messed up inside the box. The chair was so easy for my husband to put together and was even easier than the reviews even made it sound. It was able to meet our expectations and in all honesty surpassed them. You can see my husband sitting in the chair. He is about 6’1” for comparison. After using it for a while with her side, I can honestly say that it is very comfortable. It is one of those chairs that I didn’t really like the idea of this at first when I could try to chairs out in person but it kind of helps you out of the chair, almost tossing you out when you try to get up. But that has been helpful at times. The chair itself unlike the one I had with my previous pregnancy was extremely comfortable after I had my baby. It was one of those things. It sat very nice and I haven’t necessarily been uncomfortable in. I think the fact that when I was uncomfortably pregnant I could fall asleep in it speaks volumes.We have had several people come over to see the baby now that he’s here and a lot of them have said it is extremely comfortable. Not even asking them just bringing up the chair in conversation. It was them saying it as they were sitting in it. Definitely would recommend this chair to a friend if they were looking! And I could honestly say that if I had to, I would purchase this chair again. I’m the type of person that doesn’t say that lightly unless it really is something that I would purchase again for myself.

Easy to set up but had to break the box and carry everything in parts. My husband was pretty upset the box didn’t have handles. It was hard to even get it in the house. Once we got it upstairs and set up, it’s comfortable and fits our space perfectly!

It is not a plush chair but it is still soft but more firm which helps your back. It looks expensive especially with the tufted back. It reclines well and you push it down with your feet. I like that this chair can hold bigger people to. I am 5 6 and my feet reach the floor perfectly. I can lean my head on it and it complete supports my head nash spiders with room for taller people. My husband is 6 1 and he can rest his head on it and he is 230 lbs and fits comfortably in it. It looks great in the nursery to.

We have been using this chair for over 6 months now and have no complaints. Very comfortable and no squeaking. Works perfect in our nursery.

The chair game wrapped in plastic and in a large cardboard box. My 10 year old son & I put this beautiful, awesome chair together in less than 10 minutes. The only thing he and I (being 8 months pregnant) needed help with was getting the heaviest piece, the base, out of the box it was delivered in. It went together very easily (4 pieces to attach). It is a very comfortable glider / rocker / recliner, the foot rest extends out easily with the hidden lever and the foot rest is easy to collapse just using light force. I have noticed there are 2 separate sounds upon putting the foot rest back into place, one when it's about halfway collapsed and the other when it is set all the way back in to the chair but it works fine despite that. I am very pleased with this purchase, and with the gliding, rocking, reclining features. My 8 & 10 year old sons love it and can't wait to read to their baby sister while using it.
