Crystal Vision Anti-Theft Loud 130db Alarm Lock Weather Proof Heavy Duty Multi Purpose (12mm)

We have had issues with people trying to get into our shed with a combo lock on it. Fortunately they haven't been successful. We decided to upgrade to this lock so that we could prevent them from trying to hack the combo. We bought the larger size and it just barely fits through the hole since it is large. The lock is heavy, feels sturdy and is fairly easy to use once you understand how it works. One beep for armed, and two quiet beeps for disarmed. I lock it and then just barely turn the key to hear the single beep, followed by a loud chirp. The battery is easily replaceable and is located inside the lock only accessibly when the lock is open. The product is shipped with a battery so you can see how to insert/replace. Definitely recommend this lock. It would also be great for motorcycles/bikes etc.

It is very loud and the battery last for a long time

Just bought this lock and installed it in my storage unit after vandals attempted to open my other lock which they had a hard time. The reason I went with this lock is because it looks durable and because I have it on my outdoor storage unit it will be so loud that it will scare them off. Alarm will go off with a simple tug and the security key is also a plus to this lock. Only issue I had was figuring out how to install the battery which I quickly figured out.

Very sturdy lock with an alarm system that is just OK. First of all, this is a very big and heavy lock as other reviews noted - so no points off because that was clear before I ordered it. The alarm setting procedure seems odd - I'll carry the instructions in my bike bag because it's definitely not intuitive and I may not recall it six months from now if I don't use it that often. Putting the battery in was very annoying as the screw doesn't come out as one would expect and loading in the battery itself is difficult. The sound was not as loud as I expected. I'll keep the lock as it's marginally adequate for my needs, but wouldn't recommend it to anyone else.

The instructions for activating the lock are TERRIBLE. After experimentation I have found that what works every time: SLIDE THE SHACKLE INTO THE HOLE TO LOCK THE DEVICE. Then, as you HOLD THE SHACKLE SO THAT IT WON'T POP BACK OUT OF THE LOCK, insert the key and turn it all the way to the right. The lock will try to pop open but WON'T AS YOU ARE RESTRAINING IT, turn the key carefully back to center position (it will make a slight beep sound) continue to turn the key all the way to the left and release the assembly. After a couple of seconds, the lock will make a loud beep, meaning it is ACTIVATED. I am very satisfied with the lock so far. If it is moved it makes 5 LOUD BEEPS in succession and GOES OFF with a LOUD alarm.

Great lock. Until it freezes. Then it won’t unlock. Had to pour hot water on it to get it to work. Not convenient when you’re driving a moving truck cross country. I gave it away when I turned in my truck.

As soon as you figure out the audible signals that the lock gives you to show you if it is armed or not the lock is very easy to use and works perfectly. Very loud and also is a solid lock.

DO NOT PURCHASE!!!! Worst product ive ever bought! The alarms is great, the lock is not. Such a piece of garbage.. surprised these even made it past quality control - I guess they are not tested for rain or snow? I ended up putting on a lock from 20 years ago that actually works.
