I've recently started to bald my head with a foil shaver and every so often I would have razor bumps or ingrown hairs appearing 3-4 days after a shave, especially if I went against the grain. Having to deal with the irritating bumps made me hesitant to shave more than once every 2 weeks. Once I replaced my previous aftershave with bump patrol, I noticed that no matter how I shaved, with the grain, across the grain, or against the grain, the skin irritation and bumps that came with close shaving stopped happening. I shave twice a week now with no issues. You have to put just enough in your hands to rub onto all of the places you shaved for it to work, it dries quickly and doesn't have a noticeable odor.I gave this 4 stars because the 0.5 ounce bottles are not worth paying for. I got the 2 pack 0.5 oz by mistake. Get the smaller size bottle only if you want to try it to see if it works for you, and if it does, get the 2 ounce size.

For years I suffered from painful ingrown hairs and the unsightly pockmarks they leave. It would take weeks for them to smooth out and fade. I started using bump patrol and within 4 weeks I noticed significant improvement. I bought these small bottles because I frequently travel and they refill easily.Today (after about 7 months) I have zero ingrown hairs. Zero! That’s not to say I never get one but they now occur rarely.Bump patrol isn’t the best smelling aftershave. However, despite the scent, which dissipates quickly, I still rate it 5 stars.

Burns but works. No bumps ever again paired with a good razor.Will probably buy again.Smells like aftershave.

The product works ok, no better or worse than other brands I have tried. However I was quite surprised at the tiny bottles received for the price of the product. I should have read the description a little more because I was surprised at how small the bottles were.
