This is a fine example of mass produced militaria. It fits as it should and I'm assuming it will do it's job skewering whatever is in its way. Relatively cosmoline free.

As soon as I pulled it out of the box I realize that it was not made for an SKS yes the SKS comes with a spike bayonet but I thought this was a replacement for it not anywhere close I can put my thumb through the barrel slip after reading more reviews looks like it’s for an AK/AKM Just because they shoot the same caliber does not mean they’re the same gun

Replacement for a broken one, and it fit perfectly. A little messy, but that was expected. Will clean it up.

Good quality blame, and sheath. All parts are in good condition except the belt loop/knife resistant which is very low quality and I would not use it to last 1 use. Furthermore, this is not an SKS bayonet, not even close. If you are looking for an SKS bayonet, look elsewhere.

Strong spring, tight fit in the mounting. Very good product overall. Overly large amount of grease on spring, but easy to clean up.

Comes with the screw and spring looks authentic
