Not perfect, but pretty great; I'm looking forward to new features and improvements.
This is a great product, especially for the price now that a subscription is no longer required! It works much better, and offers far more features, than the "parental controls" that came built-in to my ISP router.Setup was easy (once I googled and found their new website -- the documentation listed a site in the UK which no longer exists). I love being able to see what sites my kids visited, and to keep them off the internet except for certain times. It is not without its quirks, admittedly. For example, if it's not "internet time" per their schedule and I want to let one of my children online, I have the following options:* extend their time through the browser - DOES NOT WORK* extend their time through the app - DOES NOT WORK* wait for them to request an extension and then accept it through the browser - DOES NOT WORK* wait for them to request an extension and then accept it through the app - WORKSOnce I figured that out, I could live with it.My only complaint is that I can't whitelist sites so that they are always accessible. For example, I'd like my children to always be able to get to their school website so that they can do their homework, regardless of the schedule. Currently, it's all or nothing -- either they can get online or they can't. The "Homework" mode allows me to restrict where they can go during the scheduled time when they are allowed online, but you can't schedule homework mode.I hope that HomeHalo finds continued success and that they will continue to improve this product, eliminating bugs and giving us new features like a schedule-agnostic whitelist or the ability to schedule "homework mode" (so that I can make all day every day be Homework time except for brief windows when they are allowed elsewhere).

This product is not what you hope and want it to be
BUYER BEWARE:Bought it June, 2017. Does not work with Uverse ATT, and I can tell you I am not new to this, already had another router connecter to Uverse router. Customer support in UK avail Mon-Fri during normal business hours in UK, so you'll need to take a day off from work to talk to them due to timezone difference.. Also, they false advertise, there is a subscription fee after 1yr to get the features that are probably the reason why you bought this router in the first place. No support whatsoever on the weekend, some guy in heavy British accent will pick up the phone and tell you to call back Mon-Fri. You would think that Amazon does some minimum vetting to prevent such startup vendors to sell on their site, so disappointed that Amazon is increasing becoming more like Ebay. HomeHalo is not even aware of major timezones in US, in their set-up of the configuration screen, they refer to the EASTERN timezone as Pacific Easter. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY.

Good idea - poor execution.
I'll give you 5 stars for the idea, but HomeHalo get 0.001 star in performance and customer service. This thing is a DOG. Put it in your home side by side, or behind your standard router and you'll be astonished at how slow this sucker is. I've complained a great deal to their customer support team (in the UK, I think), but the very delayed response has been full of promises of updates and fixes for almost a year - they never came. My kids HATE this thing - not because it restricts where they can go, but because it is like traveling back in time to using a 2400 baud modem to connection to AOL to surf the web.

Only Partly There.
I was excited for this product, but it just didn't live up to the hype. Set-up wasn't too bad once I figured it out and did a power off/on for both my router and the Halo box. Which is my first disappointment - I was hoping to replace my current router with the Halo, but I had to keep it and plug the Halo into it as a LAN device. It didn't seem to slow things down noticeably, so that was a plus. Second disappointment was my misunderstanding of the time settings. I was hoping for something that allowed me to set how many hours a day a profile could be online (i.e., 2 hours per day), but all I could set with the Halo was clock windows (i.e., online from 8AM to 8PM). Though clock settings are somewhat useful to keep kids offline before/after hours, it was not what I was looking for. Third disappointment was in the iPhone App and mobile webpage. The App kept timing out when you made any changes so it was pretty useless, and if you accessed their online webpage with a mobile device (Apple devices at least), the page layout was always chopped off on the right and bottom, thus preventing access to important edit buttons. I ended up having to use a computer whenever I wanted to make any changes. Fifth disappointment was in the reports. I was hoping for web pages visited but all I could find in the reports was a graph for how much data per profile was being used. Finally, and most importantly, it did not work very well to block adult content. Though I could not visit adult webpages while in child mode, I could still pull up fully adult graphic images in Google image searches. So, it looks like this device is going back until they get it right.
