Heat gun + patience = fantastic results
Might want to buy the six pack.My particular application, a 2011 Silverado Z71.The material seems very well made, nice weight and texture. Mat finish but the silver I used looks nice and carbon fiber like. The heat gun on Low and the plastic tool they supply works well. Then use a NEW razor blade (not supplied, the tool I didn’t try)… and PATIENCE while cutting away the excess. You don’t want to slip and scratch the paint (if surrounded by paint), not end up cutting yourself. Anyway, glue seems not great at first but I’ll see. All in all a nice finish and way to spend an hour on this beautiful day!

Looks like OEM
Looks really good. I took my car to a dealership and the person there thought it was original since it looked so good. Just have to apply correctly and use knife provided to align to car correctly. Sticks well and has been on car for a while. Cheaper and easier than purchasing another emblem.

Doesn’t stick well, dull crappy box knife they give
Doesn’t stick well at all, very dull box knife they give you. Poor quality as well.

looks great
the transformation on my chevy bowtie from gold to black looks very nice! it was a bit tricky getting it on though; had to try multiple times. i first tried tracing the emblem with a pen and then cutting it out but it doesnt cut very nicely and can be a bit off in size or backwards when you go to put it on. the second time around we used the exacto knife right over the emblem instead of doing any tracing and that turned out much more accurate! overall a pre-cut design wouldve been easier but its nice to have the option to customize it due to having a different size emblem on front and back of vehicle!

Cheap alternative for black out emblems
The vinyl doesn’t stick really well even after cleaning the area with alcohol and using a hair dryer on it. But once it’s cutout it looks good and stays in place. It’s worth mentioning that you will need a better razor blade than the one that comes in this kit. It’s not sharp enough and it’s flimsy to maneuver. However when it’s all said and done I’m happy with the results. Saved me a lot of money from replacing the whole emblems. Took about 45 minutes to do both the front and back emblem as well as the steering wheel emblem.

Great product if you do it right
It took me probably over an hour to do the front and back emblem. I am meticulous when it comes to these things so you might can do it faster. We had previously painted them so I cleaned them well with rubbing alcohol. It was nice it came with so many skins bc I messed up the back on the first try, but it only took half a skin, so I used the other half to do it right. The front of a traverse is bigger so you have to use a whole skin. Was very careful with placement and what not, used a heat gun (hair blow dryer would work the same), and the knife that comes with it is good for the first cut... after that it's trash and have to break it off for a new edge. I'd suggest just using a brand new box cutter or exacto blade and toss what they give you. I took these pictures several weeks after applying and we have a car wash subscription and take it though several times a week. I saw many people unhappy with this product but I think it's user error. I do construction by trade and have never done anything like this before although I did watch multiple videos on how to do it. They've held up great and even if they do fail, I have 4 more skins to replace them with. Higley recommend as long as you take your time and do it right.

Didn’t stay
It was really cute until it just fell off after driving it once, I cleaned and prepped the bow tie on my Chevy. I even had my brother come help to make sure I didn’t do something wrong ( he does wraps and what not) and he couldn’t even get it to stay.

Worked for me: Large, Front, Chevy emblem
This worked for me, and it’s sticking well so far (a few weeks). I used it to cover the gold area of a large front Chevy emblem. The emblem itself is curved in such a way that any type of overlay will naturally have creases and not want to lay flat. I solved this issue by heating up the vinyl with a hair dryer. Then I stretched the vinyl a bit to cover the emblem evenly. Finally, I trimmed the excess with the included knife. Take your time, have patience, and use heat.

Crinkled and only had 1
Very disappointed, came in a ziploc like bag and all folded weirdly and only had 1 sheet when it clearly states multiple times it would come with 3. Thankfully i think 1 should get me by but im very disappointed when it shows ehat packaging it should come in and that it has 3 sheets and tools. Would not buy this again.

Non résistant
Ce produit n’a pas résisté très longtemps aux intempéries. Je ne le recommande pas.
