Great Product--Great Customer Service
This HDMI switch worked like a charm but more impressive was the customer service response I got from Grace and her team @ Skycrop. The switching functionality stopped working after a few months for some unknown reason---what can you say other than these things sometimes happen. I reached out to Skycrop through Amazon to explain what had happened and was instantly contacted by Grace to remedy the situation. She had a replacement sent to me immediately (within 1 business day); no hassles or push-back at all. WOW--there are so many daily examples where good customer service is lacking I wanted to share this to emphasize that Skycrop stands behind its products should there be any issues with them. 5 star customer service.

Finally a switch that works well!
I went through 4 hdmi switches from other companies before I found this one. All the other ones had something that just wouldn't work with my setup, but this one is great! If you are using an always on device like Google tv you need to turn off the auto switching feature and make sure you are using the proper cables. I've had no issues with this unit and I was able to program my sideclick IR remote to cycle through the devices with one button! Currently running a Nintendo Switch, Lenovo Legion gaming laptop, Google Chromecast TV, Raspberry Pie, and one empty port. No black screens, no jumping between devices.

Almost perfect
Sized 6 inches wide x 3 inches deep x 1 inch tall, this 5 input to 1 output HDMI switcher works really well. While the auto-switching isn't perfect, it does work with most things. Turning a PS, XB, or FStick on switches perfectly, however just plugging a NSwitch back into it's dock when off will cause it to auto-switch, and turning on an iFruitTV+4K box does not cause it to auto-switch (sorry for the lack of actual brand names, with them the reviews wont post). The remote works well but it does look a bit cheap and clunky. Switching it manually with the remote is fast, but it is an IR remote, not an RF remote, so you do have to point the remote at the front of the switch for it to work. This box is high quality, solidly made, and produces no ghosting images or picture degradation from using it at all, which was my biggest worry when choosing one of these. The best part about this switch over the others on the market is that ALL 5 inputs and 1 output is in the back, making cable management a breeze! Does what it says on the tin
Works great, no problems. I haven't tried HDCP 2.2 as I connect most of my newer devices directly to my 4-port TV. This box is used for less demanding game consoles (xbox 360, nintendo switch, retrotink 5x). The auto switch feature works well most of the time. However, if one connected HDMI device is already on when you power on a second device, it will remain on the device that's already on.

Note that Green model doesn't include audio extraction.
The Blue and Black versions include 3.5mm and TOSLINK audio outputs as well as the 5 HDMI inputs, while the "Newest Version" Green is strictly an HDMI switch. That's the reason for the Green costing less. I ordered Green based on price - not realizing it lacked audio-out. thinking I needed the outputs to combat an audio issue with my TV. But in the end HDMI worked on its own and I don't need audio extraction at this time. 5 stars because it works as advertised, just make sure if you need the audio outputs that you order a correct model. It did take a bit of playing with settings before my cantankerous old TV accepted the input (reset the TV's options, then fed it a DVD through HDMI directly - after which the switcher was accepted). I feel it would be better to advertise the two classes of device separately since their specifications differ.

It worked great for a very short period.
The product looks good, and we thought it would work out like our previous older generation that lasted over 7 years. The setup was simple, and it worked great until it died on us without any warning. This model blew out in less than 15 months of minimal use without any external electrical problem. Not worth the price or the headache for such a short time. Luckily, we had purchased an extended warranty for the product. Hopefully, we will get a better quality replacement for this one.

Perfect HDMI switch and it does what it's supposed to do
Originally, I had an AV receiver handle all my HDMI inputs, but about a year ago I decided to simplify and switch to a soundbar with ARC input. The problem I immediately had was a lack of HDMI ports on my TV. It only had 3 HDMI inputs, and 1 just got taken by the soundbar (soundbar did not have it's own input). I originally tried one from Monoprice, but the auto sensing was horrible, and would sometimes override the the remote input. This 5 port model has been a perfect replacement... simply because I can turn OFF the auto sensing. The included remote is not really that great and I would have to mash in the button to get it to switch, but I use it with a Logitech Harmony Remote Hub, and the control has been flawless there. In today's world of always on devices, auto sensing can be difficult to control properly. I have a Roku, Chromecast, and a Nintendo Switch connected. These are technically always on and on my old switch it would randomly decide to change inputs. On this switch... I have not had an issue with auto sensing off Picture quality is perfect, though admittedly, I still have a 1080p display. I went with a 4k model since I plan to upgrade in the near future (finally) to 4k

Connect my gam consoles to one tv
I bought this as I had five gaming consoles to connect to my television. It is easy to setup and to use. The remote is large enough to hit the correct button to switch to the correct line as they are spaced out on the remote. Red light- green light indicators tell you exactly the status of the device and which line you are currently using. Two thumbs up!

Finally a product that allows 1 hdmi port on my tv to become 5 hdmi ports and add 5 more devices to the same tv. This is simply a device every main tv in every home needs with the growing list of connected devices. I had a lot of problems with my soundbar ARC not working after I connected this product, some device or cable of mine was causing HDCP issues. I switched out all my hdmi cables for ultra high speed 8k HDMI cables and it didn't initially fix the problem. I had to power on all connected devices and connect each one to this HDMI switch one at a time. Since then everything works awesome. Pro’s - Very solid well build metal encased product - automatically figures out whichever device is on out of the 5 connected and displays it immediately on the tv. There is almost never a need to manually chose which device to display. - if more then one device is powered concurrently like a Nintendo switch and Xbox Series X, you can manually use the remote to switch between the devices being displayed on your tv - Dolby Vision, HDR, Dolby audio, DTS all work great through the switch, just make sure you have the latest gen 4k/8k HDMI cables or one HDCP issue and the whole thing collapses. Con’s - There’s about 35 different vendors selling boxes that look almost 100% like this box, with maybe simple differences like a different color of text. This box however is an updated box and it gives me absolutely no problems with Dolby vision and HDR. Be careful which one of these boxes you buy online, not all of them are the same.

I have it connected to my Samsung soundbar, with my UHD player, ps4 and chromecast connected to it, and no loss of signal or video lag so far. It does take about 10 or 20 seconds on initial start-up to detect your devices, but once it detects, there havent been any issues. Switching to each device is easy. I labelled my control so I don't have to guess which device I'm switching to. It also passes through the correct audio signal to the soundbar. I've tested movies with Dolby, DTS, Atmos and DTS X, and the switcher didn't have any problems sending the signal. I will revise my review if anything pops up, but so far so good.

Does what an HDMI switch do. I hooked up my Switch dock, PS4 and Wii U to it and turning on consoles makes the switch output the correct signal to my TV. It all works flawlessly. Can't comment on the 4k as none of my consoles can output in this resolution. The picture and sound qualities are still flawless in 1080p, though. I wish it was all gold and roses but, sadly, the remote controller is kind of garbage. Every time I press any of the 5 buttons to switch inputs, it raises or lowers the volume on my TV or opens up the settings menu on my Roku TV. It's extremely annoying to the point where I put the remote away and just let the HDMI switch do its thing. I realize this is just an issue of my TV picking up on the remote's IR signal but I've never seen any other remote interfere with my TV so I would rather blame that. It's still a solid purchase and I'm extremely satisfied not to have to unplug and replug HDMI cables every time I want to play on a different system.

It does the job. I had a problem with the remote but a replacement was provided very quickly. No arguments, no hassles just excellent service.

Worked great for the first few months, but now all of a sudden the auto switch no longer works (I long pressed the switch button just in case I'd done that to turn it off, and it did not fix it.). As well, the remote buttons only work 1/10th of the time and the switch button on the device itself barely works. The device is basically useless at this point with the amount of effort it takes to get things to switch correctly. I'm sad I'm past the return window on Amazon for this item as I've purchased a new one and intend to throw this one out once the new one arrives.
