Love how compact and easy to place in pockets or bags and not take up room. Love that I now have a mug to use when I go places for coffee and they only have paper or styrofoam cups, NOW I have my own! I enjoy the insulation sleeve and the various designs and colors you have to pick from too. I couldn’t decide on scenery, so I got both, lol. Easy to carry, easy to use, easy to love ❤️

I'm not an expert on food grade silicon which this claims to be, but I thought it's supposed to be odorless? This cup has a very strong and unpleasant odor even after a full washing. This makes me hesitant to continue using it.. I am adding to this review that after my original review they reached out to me and were extremely generous in resolving all my issues. Because of this I have improved my overall review.

It is a great cup to have if you are having cold drinks. For hot beverages the sleeve is hard to put on when empty and do not even try to do it with liquid in there. You have to hold it gently as the silicone is soft and will bend in and may spill out some of the liquid. I wished the cap was a screw on as it does not stay on securely.

I really wanted to love this mug. I bought two different brands of collapsible travel mug and was rooting for this one the whole time hoping it would win out, but it just didn’t meet practicality standards. Heres my honest review: PROS: 1. Packability! - this mug is definitely one of the easiest collapsible travel mugs to pack away in a bag for an outing. It’s easy to fold into itself unlike a lot of other silicone cups, and I love how FLAT it is when it’s folded away. The cozy is a nice addition for protecting the mug when stored 2. Versatility - this is a 16oz mug, but the tapered effect somehow makes it feel smaller and more comfortable to hold like a 12oz. Great design! It’s also easy to collapse into smaller sizes. Perfect if you are in the EU and just want an espresso - just shrink it and you’re good! (Can’t use the cozy in this setting though) 3. Quality of materials - overall, the materials used feel very high quality. The silicon is definitely a higher grade and the cozy has a very nice feel to it. Although the steel lid adds weight for those of us who might be counting ounces in the back country, it gives a certain sturdiness that I appreciated. Certainly not a con since it’s clearly pictured in the design. CONS 1. The lid leaves much to be desired - even with the silicone ring, there’s really no seal at all. The lid pops off or at least loses its seal very easily! Just walking around with it in your hand will cause the lid to lift as you can see in the video. I would love to see this mug come out with an upgrade that allows the lid to twist and click into place or is simply threaded and screwed on for added security. 2. Closure - also part of the lid but deserves its own note. The silicon tab which is meant to seal the mouthpiece also easily pops out. Definitely needs thicker/more sturdy silicon to prevent spillage. Overall, if you’re only using this mug on camping trips or around a bonfire, it will probably serve you well. But, for the price, it just simply doesn’t deliver the way it should. Ultimately, this is a camp mug and not something I would feel confident using as a travel mug (traveling abroad, on a plane/in an airport, etc). Although I really hoped for that to be the case, the last thing I want is for the lid to randomly pop off and I spill a hot drink all over myself. It’s a no for me until these improvements are made.

I Love Love Love this little blue guy! Pretty much use it everyday since I got it months ago. Seems like it will last forever. I live in NYC, i fill this amazing cup with an alcoholic beverage and hit the streets drinking. I'll buy more amd keep filling it, but when I'm done, i shrink it up and throw it my pocket, in my girl's purse, or just carry it (it shrinks down so thin); it doesn't matter. I don't know if there are better versions out there, this is the only brand I bought, but I definitely don't need a different one, this mobile cup does exactly what I need it to. Like I said, seems like it's gonna last forever!

Could be great with some quality adjustments. I love my TI implements for through-hiking and as most know, they just don't "hold temperature", especially hot content. Silicone products have better insulating properties and even better with a silicone or neoprene "sleeve". To begin, this Hydaway is way too "top heavy" to be comfortably stable because of the stainless rim in fact, it's just too heavy, period. If the rim were polypropylene like the stojo, or better yet TI, that would be fabulous and bring the product more inline with it's "high price-point". Secondly, while I didn't get to put it to the test, the "bellow folds" that allow the cup to collapse are "micro-thin", making for no expected longevity. Simple upgrades that might require "minuscule re-tooling" if any at all.... and this travel cup could surpass stojo, as the #1 seller.

I haven't really tested how leak-proof it is, but otherwise it's a sound travel item, both compact and lightweight enough to stick into a side cargo pants pocket, for example. It's a good size for tea, smoothies, or even to use as a small pasta bowl in a pinch. Or a catch-all container spot in a hotel room---for pens, notes, spare change, receipts, keys, etc. The lid helps keep it clean in storage and on the go. I would buy another---and perhaps will, just to keep handy in the car console.

The travel cup is very durable. Heavier weight than I expected. It folds up easily and the sleeve is great for insulation for the hand. Very. Compact and takes up almost no space in a case or travel bag.
