Flawless
I first used a UAG case with my Galaxy SIII and loved it. The primary function of the case is of course to protect your phone, and it did this perfectly, but unlike every other case out there, thought it actually improved the style of the phone instead of destroyed it. So when I got my Galaxy S4, this was the first accessory I bought for it.The OtterBox cases work very well for protecting your phone; they are high quality products. But I have not yet seen one that didn't make the phone significantly uglier than it was case-less. So far, the UAG cases on my Galaxy SIII and S4 have withstood every level of abuse I've given to it. Several falls and minor water spills, etc. I haven't ever dropped it from higher than the height of my head, so I can't speak to major falls, but ultimately, it has left my phone in perfect condition. The case and screen protector itself has gotten some scratches over time, probably mostly from having it in the same pocket as my keys. But the great part is when you take the case off and replace the screen protector, you can see my phone is in literally 100% perfect condition, as if I just took it out of the box. It doesn't take very long to get dings and scratches on your phone when it's not in a case, so I highly recommend you buy a case & screen protector WITH your phone, and put them on your phone immediately. With how expensive these phones are, you really don't want to take any chances.I've also noticed some improvements to the UAG design between when I bought my SIII case and S4 case. The SIII case was excellent already, but the S4 case improves upon it by being lighter, slightly lower profile (doesn't increase the size of your phone as much as it previously did) and the outer material is less glossy and more flat, which makes scratches less noticeable. And of course, ALL Urban Armor Gear cases have a 100% perfect cut for all the ports/camera lenses/lights/speakers/etc to fit your phone's every need. Finally, I love how the material on theses UAG cases are rigid, but not too rigid. It's a perfect middle ground between the flimsy rubber cases that are dust magnets, and the hard plastic cases that look & protect better, but are more prone to scratching and slipping from your hand. The UAG cases literally have *all* of the positives of the traditional rubber and plastic cases, but *none* of the negatives. These cases look awesome, protect your phone very well, and keep the resale value of your phone up for when you go to sell it. A UAG case has become a prerequisite to me when I buy a new phone. I do not by new phones anymore until there is an UAG case available to buy with it. The style is subjective, so if you don't like the photos of them, feel free to pass. But if you think they look cool from the photos, buy it now because you will absolutely not be disappointed with it when you see and feel it in person.

I prefer it to Otterbox Commuter
I just posted two pictures of this case for the S4 side by side with my wife's S4 in an Otterbox Commuter case. Here are the differences that I can see between the two:1) The Commuter is *possibly* going to offer slightly more protection, but only on a face-first drop. It's about 2mm thicker than the UAG case so the lip around the screen is visibly taller. I don't feel like the protection is significantly different on any other side or the back regardless of their whole 'two layer' approach. The UAG is hard case on the outside and soft on the inside, so whether you build it into one piece or make it two pieces, it accomplishes the same thing.2) The UAG fits in my pocket better because it's thinner than the Commuter.3) The one thing my wife really dislikes about the Commuter is that she has to either use something like a paperclip, or her fingernail, to pop open the covers from the USB and headphone ports. Women who have their nails done will probably not want to do that, and having to look for something to pop it open every time you want to plug your headphones or charger in is annoying.4) Personally, I purchased the S4 over the HTC One because I like to have the ability to swap batteries since I travel a lot and may not have time or access to charge when needed. The UAG case is fairly easy to pop off and on, which means I can maintain my ease of access to swapping the battery when needed. The Otterbox Commuter is a lot more involved in removing and replacing. You have to first take the hard shell off, which loves to catch on the USB and headphone jack cover flaps since they're part of the soft inner case. Once that's done, the soft case is a very tight fit, so it can take some work. Putting it back together is not as bad but you still have to get the hard case on and then dig out the headphone/usb cover flaps with your fingernail to pull them through to working position again. People that don't swap their battery probably would not have a need to remove the case very often so this may be a non-issue for most but does annoy me.So that's that, so far I really like the case. In fact I like the phone better with the UAG case on than off because there had been several times where I'd gone to quickly grab my phone while running out the door and I don't get a good grip and it falls out of my hand because of how thin it is. The UAG case makes it just a bit thicker but so far I haven't had that problem again because it's now much easier to grab in a hurry.I debated getting the orange one because I think that one looks better but I meet with customers for work and figured a bright orange phone would not look as professional so I passed on that. Now that I see how easy the case is to remove and replace, I may get the orange one anyway and just use it when I'm not at work.My wife's opinion is this case looks like a 'guy' case so women may not like the looks as much. She prefers her Otterbox.

Excellent fit & aesthetic
I bought this case so I would have something sturdy to protect my phone if I fell when skating. I've fallen twice on my side and my phone has come out fine being jammed between my leg and the ground. The look of the case is great in my opinion and is a perfect fit for the phone. The button covers on the side are the best I've had in a case so far, and I also like that the case doesn't increase the size of the phone by much either. Great case, would definitely recommend.

Great and inexpensive way to protect your GS4 and man it up at the same time.
This case will make you feel like you're carrying a piece of high tech special ops gear. It adds a seriously rugged, military look to your phone. Not only that but it's a really great case. It fits very snugly so it won't pop off. It's well designed as far as the protection it offers your phone including having a protruding lip on the front to protect your screen from drops onto hard (flat) surfaces. The rubber edge bumpers add an extra level of drop protection. The case adds some bulk to your phone, but it's still able to fit in the pocket of your jeans. Thickness wise it's no worse than the typical iPhone case. My only issue with the UAG was that like many injection molded parts it had a sharp edge where the mold parting line flashing was. This was a little annoying to hold. However it's a really simple fix with a sharp thin bladed knife, utility knife or razor blade. Just give trim the flashing carefully and in less than a minute the problem is solved.Pros:- Great, rugged, high tech look- Great fit on the phone- Superb drop and impact protection for the phone- Excellent priceCons:- Adds a slight bit of bulk to the phone- Minor sharp edges from the plastic flashing, easily user trimmed- like all cases with a front screen protecting rim, it collects more pocket dust in the cornersVerdict:Highly recommended for anyone that wants great, tough looking protection for their expensive phone

Awesome
Love it... It's made of a soft composite plastic and it seems to protect the phone quite well.... But, I prefer to use it with a tempered glass screen protector instead of a the UAG screen protector...
