Very good product i like

I use this filter for my well at my summer cabin. I have trouble with sediment, so I purchased a three stage filter system, which came with two 5 micron paper filters. The first filter quickly became saturated with clay and had to be changed often. I substituted this reusable 50 micron filter, which solve my problem. Good inexpensive filter

I used three, 50, 30, 20 to filter well water. The water comes out pure and taste great.Before installing filters the water had a slight rust color and taste like dirt.

These filters are washable but be careful. The filters are not labeled once removed from the original package, so when I washed a 50 and a 20 I was not able to tell which was which after cleaning them so now I have a 50/50 chance that they are reversed. I’ll check how they’re doing next week and should be able to see if the filters were swapped. I’ll move to the color coded ones and have my sharpie handy next time.

The price was reasonable and they seem to work. I have very rusty water and previous filters that I have used blocked up after 6 months to a year. I changed this one after 2 years as part of my routine maintenance. It was still not filled with rust and was working fine. I am not sure if it lasts a long time or the amount of rust in my water has changed overtime, or if it allows more rust through to my water conditioner, which is what removes most of the rust from our water.

Good quality and does what it is suppose to do.
