Best refried beans!
These are without a doubt the best refried beans! Once you try them, you'll never go back. My only problem is that this product is impossible to get in the grocery store. HEB, Walmart and any other small grocery chain do not carry. WHY???? I have to order on Amazon by the case. Give them a try!

Toddler approved!
My grocery store stopped carrying these and they are a staple for my whole family (including my toddler). Yum! Easy way to add protein and fiber to a meal.

Fantastic baked beans with a full ingredient listing - perfect for me
I have a number of food allergies and it has been almost impossible to find a canned baked bean product that I can eat. Either the label expressly mentions something that I am allergic to to the ingredients are too nebulous for me to determine exactly what is in the can. I can (and do) make my own but sometimes it is really nice to be able to just grab something out of the pantry to help round out a meal.I have found Amy's products to be one of the best in listing full ingredients. If it isn't clear from the can, I can check their website. If that isn't clear, they are great at responding to queries about their products. That makes a world of difference to those of us who have food allergy issues. The vegetarian baked beans are delicious. I was thrilled to find them at my local Whole Foods but am even more happy to find them in bulk purchase here on Amazon. My local store only carries a couple of cans at a time and I hate to take them all considering there may be others who need this brand, too. I can order a dozen in good conscious here and have them ready for the summer months to add to my picnic menus. With Memorial Day coming up and a pool party and barbeque that my daughter puts on every year, this year I will be bring baked beans (these spruced up a bit with a few more ingredients such as liquid smoke, chopped sauteed onions, and brown sugar) as well as some baked barbeque chicken with quinoa pilaf. The beans are great as is but for a party, I will spend five extra minutes and take them over the top.Update:5/27/15 My case did arrive with 5 dented cans. Interesting, too, as the outer box was pristine. I can only assume that the cans shifted inside the box and dented one another. I used the dented cans first, making sure that they opened with the sound of vacuum. If they hadn't, I would have tossed them. There was no problem and I used the beans to make for our Memorial Day party. I think it is a packaging issue that should be able to be resolved by putting a stronger wrap around the case - probably by the manufacturer rather than Amazon as it is shifting inside their packaging.

Absolutely Delicious Beans for Bean Dip!
If you are trying to eat beans more often there is an easy way to do it! Simply split a can of refried black beans into two plastic or glass containers. Then top with avocado, sour cream, cheddar cheese and sliced black olives. It keeps in the refrigerator a few days. By covering up the avocado with the sour cream it keeps the avocado fresher longer! I've tried two types of refried beans from Amy's and the black beans are really the best most flavorful beans ever! I got two cans last time and made four containers of bean dip. Just add some tortilla chips and you have a small meal! I'll be getting these again! Soon! Like today! lol~The Rebecca Review

Very good
Our local store stopped selling these so now we have to get them online. The seasoning is better than any other refried black beans we've tried.
