I purchased this and I screwed up the installation the first time. My mistake was letting the adhesive flow too far after tipping the jig (below the circle - WATCH THEIR INSTALLATION VIDEO). This caused some of the adhesive fluid to flow off the phone screen at the bottom edge, and so the adhesive did not flow all the way to the top edge of the screen (top edge did not have adhesive under the glass). Fortunately, this product comes with 2 protectors. I corrected my mistake the second time, and it went perfectly.This screen protector is FABULOUS:- NO air bubbles - looks BEAUTIFUL- glass attached firmly- fingerprint reader works really well-- i did not have to re-register finger prints-- I didn't even have to turn on the "extra" touch sensitivity- the glass resists smudging and finger oilsI am VERY VERY happy with this system. Yes, it's expensive, but in my opinion totally worth it. At first, I put one of those $15 glass screen protectors on my S21 5G, and it was SO frustrating because the finger print reader was VERY hit or miss. It world work OK a few times, and then fail maybe 5 or 6 times in a row. It failed frequently enough that I saw the "try your bio metric reader again in 30 seconds" message several times a day. I have not seen that message even once since I installed this screen protector. AMEN!!

I have no issue with the complex installation. I've done this style installation before using other brands. My S20 Ultra had a similar product from another brand. Loved it... this one... not so much. About two weeks after installation, I noticed "something" in top left corner. couldn't tell what it was but over the course of the next couple days it got worse. What it appears to be, there is a film on the phone side of the glass and the glass screen protector is separating from the film itself. its creating a really ugly look and it has migrated down the side. I chalked it up to a bad install or a bad product but I put the other screen protector (package of two) on my wifes phone and hers did the exact same thing. Moreoever, the glas started chipped at these locations.... all in all, this is a garbage product for $50. I will never buy this brand and I would advise you find a different prodcut for your phone.

As others have said, there is just barely enough adhesive in the tube for an S21 5G. So tape over the buttons and speakers well, but don't use the absorption pads until the after the adhesive has spread completely, plus maybe 30 more seconds for it to settle and even out.Otherwise this type of UV-cured adhesive screen protectors have been the best. The glass plus the gel adhesive make the screen nearly indestructible (like, fall from 4 feet onto asphalt with enough speed to slide a good 30 feet away, on the screen. Just another crack in the screen protector. But replace it once you start losing glass from the corners.

My previous screen saver was a self healing plastic laminate. It performed as advertised but I was never happy with it and wanted to switch back to glass. Choosing this this the screensaver turned out to be a bonus. My phone responds almost as if I had no screen at all. The clarity, touch response and feel is great. I rescanned my fingerprint and the recognition has also improved. No more tapping around.I rated this 4 stars because my first installation was a disaster. This installation process is more complex than other screen savers. The written instructions are basic and their YouTube video shows a perfect installation. So after my first debacle, I watched other videos which included pitfalls to avoid. Thankfully the kit comes with two screens. My second attempt went without any issues and the result looks professional. You have to look closely to see there is a screen protector on it.These is my observations for avoiding the pitfalls:1. Installation requires more steps than other brands. Familiarize yourself with each step. It may help to line up everything in order of use before starting.2. Make absolutely certain the surface you are working on is level. This can have an impact the application of the adhesive.3. BE PATIENT. I can't emphasize that enough. Resist the temptation to "assist" the process. Be patient.4. Complete the 15 second curing times before removing it from the tray. Then carefully remove the phone and complete the final curing.From reading the many negative reviews I can understand their frustration/anger. I do believe however the cause for many of their negative reviews was due to falling prey to one of the pitfalls. My first try failed because of #2 on the list. Now after getting a handle on installation, if I need to purchase another screen protector Whitestone will be my first consideration.
