Great quality
Seems very sturdy, holds the critters my daughter catches. Does what it's supposed to and so far none have escaped. I'd recommend this cute bug carrier.

A classic for summer evenings with the kids
We love this for summer evenings catching fireflies. The kids let them go first thing next morning.

Great for bug lovers!
My son is a very big bug lover and will catch anything and everything that moves outdoors. He has had his "bug cage" for a couple months now and so far it has held up great! The only thing that keeps me from giving it 5 stars is the fact you can't lock the lid and sometimes if my son tips the cage sideways, the lid will open and release the bugs. Otherwise super cute and portable!

Perfect activity for toddlers of all ages
I purchased this along with Melissa & Doug Sunny Patch Bag of Bugs, a collection of ten brightly colored insects made to fit perfectly in the buggy house.I bought this for my 15 month old grandson who was getting tired of his regular toys. He needed more interactive play, and his first-grade-teacher-mom Has been playing hide and seek with these bugs outside. He takes his little buggy carrying case and finds bugs that she hides in the yard.At first he wasn't sure about the game, but his parents point out the brightly colored bugs that they hide in the grass and under plants, and now he actively seeks them out. These bugs are brightly colored, molded plastic that fit perfectly in his chubby toddler hands, and he is thrilled to have them. Even when he's not scavenging for them he likes to carry them around in the case. I am not a fan of kids finding and imprisoning live creatures because the insects can die - and then the adult has to explain explain what happened to them. As soon as I saw the insects as a companion purchase the decision to buy the buggy house was easy. This is such a hit I will now be giving both items as gifts in the future.
