I used to be a normal person. I’d pour regular maple syrup on pancakes like a peasant, not knowing that a sparkly revolution was waiting for me in a tiny, magical bottle from Vermont.Then someone gifted me a sampler of Runamok Sparkle Syrup. Cute, I thought. Novelty, I assumed. WRONG. That was the day my taste buds were bedazzled and my breakfast standards skyrocketed beyond repair.This syrup glistens like it was hand-harvested from a unicorn’s tears. It turns pancakes into a party. Waffles into wizardry. Coffee? Now it’s a glittery potion of joy. I put it on fruit just to make it feel fancy. I even caught myself contemplating a drizzle on roasted carrots. (Don’t judge me, I didn’t do it. Yet.)Yes, it’s pricey. But so is therapy. And honestly, this syrup might be cheaper in the long run.Buy it. Ruin yourself for lesser syrups.

This listing is for several different flavors. I am reviewing the Cinnamon/Vanilla Infused Syrup. And I love it! It’s a pricey treat, true... not for everyday use. But just one tablespoon makes an excellent Old Fashioned Cocktail. A drizzle on vanilla ice cream is amazing. And it’s decadent on pancakes or waffles.It is a little bit thinner than some may expect for maple syrup but certainly not outside of my experience.The bottle is small, 250ml, just over 1cup. And so it ends up being a bit of a sludge. But, as an occasional treat, it’s great.The packaging is... well.... through. The glass bottle comes in a big, heavy, cardboard box with lots of packing materials. It’s not really a “gift box” per se; I suspect that someone left a negative review because their bottle got broken in unusually-rough handling and they just vowed never again to let that happen... and they have. Fortunately, it’s all environmentally-green and recyclable materials.The bottle is nice, very presentable. It makes a fine hostess gift, a break from the traditional bottle of wine.In conclusion, this is a delicious treat.

This syrup tastes so good! I use it to flavor my iced coffee, not on pancakes. Love it!

So rich, and sooo delicious. Ok, maybe a little (lot) pricey but worth it in my eyes. We don't do sweet a lot for breakfast, so when we do break out the syrup on carb heavy mornings, why not make it something absolutely delectable?The vanilla enhances the sweetness of the maple, and then there's just the right touch of cinnamon spice. It's a nice complexity without being overpowering.My family laughed when I got it, saying I was soooo fancy. That is until they poured it on their pancakes and started chowing down. Then wouldn't you believe it, those jokers started asking for it every single time instead of the other syrups. Ha! What was that about mama being too fancy??!Now it's a staple in our fridge and they get upset when we run out. Like I said, delicious!

I bought one of these, and it was so well received I got 5 more as follow-up gifts. The syrup is very good and the sparkles are delightful and everyone loved it. NOTE that the sparkles settle fairly quickly so it needs to be shaken regularly to keep the sparkles throughout. And, after sitting for a day or more, it takes a lot of shaking to get the "solid silver mass at the bottom" to spread out again. But, it's well worth it.

This is a very unique product that was a fun surprise for the grandkids. Taste is fine but not so special as to justify a second purchase at this price.

The product is amazing!! It has fantastic maple flavor, the sparkle was brilliant to the very last drop. My grandkids say it made the Dino waffles taste like heaven. lol. Not really sure what heaven tastes like, but they were definitely impressed. I was too. As a side note, really good in mixed adult beverages too!! Tons of recipes on line. I highly recommend. Very fun for birthdays or any day for a special feeling to to meal, desert, drink……..

My kids LOVE this syrup! It's glittery, colorful, and adds a magical touch to breakfast. Every time we use it, it turns an ordinary meal into a fun, exciting moment.
