Can this be played outside?

Of course! This game is perfect to play outdoors or indoors. And it's machine washable, so if it gets dirty you can toss it in the wash and it's good as new!

How many foam pieces come with the set?

24! 12 black and 12 red, just like standard checkers. 5 of the red discs have O's printed on the back, and 5 of the black discs have X's printed on the back.

How can i get replacement checkers?

You will have to call the 1800 number to replace the missing checkers.

Does the rug come with the set?

Yes, it’s doubled sided. One side checkers one side tic tac toe. Sheer material not heavy rug.

Great fun for the entire family

Bought this game for the family cookout and it was so much fun. The material of the board is very light but sturdy and it looks washable even. The foam playing pieces are perfect. The best part is few people play checkers any more it seems so it's a learning game for the kids. Love the size and durability for outside.
