Q: are these sent from China?

Hi, this product was sent to buyers by Amazon FBA warehouse.

Q: Why do these trays leave a white powder residue on ice cubes made in them? After putting the ice cubes in water, the water is full of white flakes.

This does not happen to me. Do you have a water softener system? Perhaps the flakes are salt. Did you try licking them to see if they are salty? Other than that, I don't know. Perhaps you can try making the ice cubes from purified water.

The lid is rigid plastic and silicone is usually soft and bendable. However there is nothing stamped on the lid to say what the material is. Maybe the manufacturer can help?
