Best for even non-pro riders. Will help you ride faster.
I tried a few other bike shoes before this. These a more pro even though you may not be a pro - I certainly am not, not even close to that. But if you have the skier pedals that I have these shoes stayed glued on - not not quite like clamp ons, and one doesn’t ever want that for a street bike (unless you are a pro). So for bike usage 5 out of 5. For walking short distances once off the bike 4 out of 4 for comfort (other that I tried were 3 or even 2 out of 5, and maybe there is 5 out of 5 for street sidewalk comfort but these are mainly for on bike). Size fit maybe get a half size larger but I am wearing true to size and they’re fine. I would rather feel that there is no slippage when riding. Though a wide option would be good. Overall I would recommend these shoes. Get them if you want to take even your normal bike serious - it upgrade your pedals if you don’t already have a spike type - then you have a perfect match with these shoes.

Great MTB shoe, but...
Great looking, super grippy, flat sole lace up MTB shoes.Yet, three FYls are noteworthy:1. Secret Sauce: Hide-away pocket for shoe laces. Bar none!2. Size. Theses sure run small! I am usually a men's 9.0. I am happy to have concurrently ordered a pair in size 9.5, and they do fit.3. Width. This CrankBros shoe model definitely is a bit too narrow for my preference! Wish they'd be a bit wider, especially around the front 1/3 and toebox (=the widest part of the human foot). Hope they'll widen + stretch a bit with wear.*My dream sticky flat sole MTB shoe would be one with a Birkenstock footbed!**Amazon erroneously and confusingly indicates in the header of this review my ‘verified purchase' to be size 9.0—this is incorrect. I returned the pair in size 9.0, and KEPT the size 9.5 version!Hope my review helps the next buyer of these marvelous MTB shoes…

Got return goods, not new or original. Not pleased with that. Shoe seems ok…but
The shoes seem well made and fit fine. The packaging, markings, and shoes clearly indicate these to be return goods that were rejected and warn by another person. Not happy with this transaction.Beware. Should have been listed in Amazon used.
