Plus you can check out other components for wear while you have it torn down. Tip: an old toothbrush helps with removing old grease from gears and other spots.

Just installed. Removed the old grease, added the new grease, the machine is much quieter.

The grease is definitely not the same quality as the other tub we ordered to fix our thrifted stand mixer, but the price is great considering it comes with a few things, and it was perfect for us because we needed both more grease AND to replace a gasket. We just mixed it around with the better grease to ensure an even distributed and our machine works like new
