Q: does this headband squeeze the sides of your head?

I have a big head and I don't feel a squeeze, I find them comfortable. Best to make an effort not to flex them outward when you put them on and off as they crack easily with outward pressure.

Q: Does it hold well in straight hair or is it best suited for curly or wavy hair?

My hair is straight and fine and they hold my hair up well. Works best if I put some product on my hair to make it not quite so silky .. a little more grip I guess you could say.

Q: Do these work well for fine hair?

I have fine hair but a lot of hair the bands don't slide they hold and stay in place and don't hurt I forget that I'm wearing it I've been using them for about 7 years now great product only down side is they do brake if you pull them to hard otherwise they are great
