Q: Is this the exact R12S filter as in the photos?

The Racor 120 is sold packaged with one of three filter elements which differ by the particle sizes they can capture (30, 10, or 2 micron). The R12S filter element is printed with brown ink on the case and is the finest (captures the smallest dirt particles) of the three. All three filters include the water block technology which will not allow water droplets to pass through, instead they drop and collect into the bowl that attaches under the filter element. The picture looks to be a true authentic Parker/Racor R12S element.

yes. I think the T is 10microns and the S is 2 Microns.

Clean fuel

I installed this as my 2nd filter it being a 2 microns , the first filtering is a 10 microns. By running them tandem I'm assured clean fuel to my outboard motor.
