My fav stainless steel chain! Bought numerous times now and always impressed with the high quality, great weight/look/feel. Love that it comes with jump rings and lobster clasps. All around great buy!

UPDATE: I have purchased this chain 6 times and the first 4 times I received the same item reference in my review below. The last 2 purchases I have been sent slightly different items. They look very similar but the links in the chain are slightly larger and more open. Because these are different I can no longer say yet whether they will hold up as well as what I was receiving before. I am not sure if the product was changed or if I have just been getting sent the wrong things by Amazon. I have reached out to the seller and will update my review if I receive useful information. ------------- I have been so pleased with this spool of chain! I am new to jewelry making and just building up supplies, and the quality here seems miles better than what I was using previously. Other chains I've used have been an odd color, or changed color, or wouldn't lay right, but I haven't had any issues with this. In fact I initially bought this just to use with pieces that were partially chainmail and needed chain that I could attach to it to finish off the length, and I had ready-made necklace chains to use for pendants--but this looks better than those so I've been going back and making simple 16 or 18-inch chains to put pendants on as well. I can't believe how many necklaces I have already got from this spool for the price I paid and I've still got a fair amount left! I've been using this for about a month and haven't noticed any tarnishing so I'm optimistic based on that and on the number of reviews I saw of people returning to buy more (as I myself have just done). A lot of other chains had positive reviews from people who had only just received them and then negative reviews from people coming back after time to say it turned black. I haven't seen that for this product which is a good sign. When I first was using this I was trying to cut the links with cutters which was doable but difficult. I realized later that the links are not welded shut so you are better off using very thin pliers to just open a link one past where you want your chain to end. It's a bit fiddly as they are quite small but it is much better than trying to cut them plus you don't end up with pieces of chain flying across the room. I had intended to build up an inventory of different sizes of chain but honestly I've yet to find a necklace this chain didn't work nicely for! Obviously, chain size is mostly a personal preference but this width has proven to be far more versatile than I had expected.

Can't go wrong with stainless steel chain. It's strong for the size and works for so many pendants or charms.

I am beyond happy. To find stainless steel in this amount and quality as well as the jumper rings and clasps is amazing. I was very apprehensive and worried it would be plated or poor quality as I have found lots of ads that state it's stainless but its actually plated but that's hidden in the fineprint. It's very easy to work with but you will need the jump rings to get between the links (they are a very small opening). If I could wish for anything it would be for more jump rings and more chain variety from the vendor I would definitely recommend this product and will be buying again.
