Good containers
1 cup (8oz) means filled to the brim. Nice screw-on lid. Haven't tested/challenged them to see if they're leak proof. I only handwash them. Doing great so far. Decent product, no complaints. Do not know if these are BPA free or not. Warning: needed 2 people to separate them, lol. Wow, they were stuck!

Love these containers!!
I love these containers! I use them for everything! From making my own trail mix; storing nuts and snacks; storing mints and cough drops; freezing leftovers like soups, stews and chili, and even storing my dogs treats. Pretty much anything that comes in a zipper-type bag at my house gets transferred into one of these containers. They work out great for me. The 48 oz container is a great size (it definitely beats double bagging to make sure I don’t have a leak). BONUS they are reusable!I have had the occasional container arrive cracked in my package, but I have never had one break on me in the freezer so far (I usually leave ample space for expansion). They also store/stack very nicely. These containers are all over my house. The really great thing I have noticed since I started using them is that ants are less attracted to my kitchen counters and cupboards. They seal completely unlike ziplock/zipper bags that are easy to miss sealing all the way.

Good size for deserts like pudding & jello.
Decent price, but cheaply made - one lid broke when it was dropped on laminate floor.NOT leak proof or even leak resistant, they would need a seal in the lid for that. I put water in one & finger tightened the lid, leaked right away. Put water in a second one & overtightened lid a good bit, leaked about half as much. Put water in a 3rd & tightened lid as tight as I could without stripping the threads, still leaking.Fortunately, I bought these for use as desert containers, so I don't need them to be leak resistant, but still would have been nice.My only real gripe for these, the lids don't lock or firmly stack together, they kind of stack together as you stack them up, but it's a VERY loose stack & they easily fall over, which is how one of the lids broke already.Still, IMO, they are worth what I paid for them & would recommend them unless you need them to be leak proof.

Fine small food-storage containers
These PlasticPro twist-top food-storage containers function very well. Bottoms are almost clear, slightly translucent, of a plastic that’s hard enough to resist stains but soft enough hopefully not to crack. The top is perhaps slightly harder, and translucent blue. They’re very nicely shaped in a way that makes them easy to handle securely, stable (not prone to tilting over), stackable, and round without any corners so they’re easy to clean. We got the 4-ounce size, which often works very well for us for small portions. Obviously your mileage on this may vary. The only way in which these containers aren’t pretty near ideal is that, while they seal fairly well, they are not completely liquid-tight; they are leak-resistant, but not (despite what they say at one point) no-leak. If you put liquid in them and squeeze or compress or shake them, they will leak some. But then, out of the several dozen brands and types of plastic food storage containers that we have (including ZipLoc and Glad), the only one that is really no-leak, liquid-tight is a screw-on “Twist & Seal” container from Rubbermaid - and I recommend strongly against that because it shortly turns brittle and cracks and shatters - and because Rubbermaid’s products and service have gone completely down the drain. So these PlasticPro containers, while not completely liquid-tight, are as liquid-tight as any other respectable container that I know of. And pretty much ideal in every other respect. 5 stars as long as they hold up. Hopefully for decades, like many old containers we still have good as new.Warning regarding these and almost all current plastic food-storage containers: These claim to be microwave-safe. And they are - but they aren’t! The microwaves themselves won’t interact badly with the plastic container. However, it’s easily possible to heat up solid food items in the container to where they are hot enough to scorch and pit and surface-melt the inside of the container. Be careful unless you want plastic in your food and food in your plastic!

PlasticPro containers are awesome!
I absolutely love the PlasticPro containers! The screw-on lids are such a fantastic feature. The sidewalls are super sturdy, making them reliable for all my storage needs. They really help save space in my refrigerator and freezer. Plus, I particularly enjoy how they stack nicely, allowing me to maximize cabinet space when I’m not using them. These containers are a game changer for keeping everything organized!

Excellent choice for small amounts of leftovers and airtight too
I just love these, screw on lid storage containers. I have the same containers in the 16 oz size but decided to try the 8 oz size to save space in my freezer because I have noticed when filling the 16 oz size, the volume of the food was only about half. These plastic containers were first introduced by Zip Loc and now that brand is very hard to find in any stores and if you want them, you will most likely have to get them from a source like Amazon and these are an exact copy of the original Zip Loc brand.
