Poor researched self published book
Unfortunately very disappointed with this book. It is a self published amature look at cyber secueity and ethical hacking. The content is short 'explanations' if various aspects of cyber security, offering no more information than a quick Google search would bring. The sources used for the majority of the book are a mix of YouTube and websites such as wierd, quoting random stories as examples of each area of cyber. This feels more like a high school essay turned into a book than an actual text on cyber security. Most disappointingly are the frankly odd and poorly researched claims in the book. For example stating that the best way for a bank to avoid a social engineering attack is for the bank employee to just lie to a caller to see if they spot the lie (and therefore confirm their identity)!Overall very disappointed with the book.

Very limited information, biased opinions. Bad book
This book reads like someone googled all the answers to a quiz, rewrote them so it wasn't obvious and turned the assignment in hoping to at least get a C.IF you know nothing about computers, computer history or cybersecurity. The first 10 chapters are an interesting read (but you could just read the wiki pages from the Table of Contents titles and get more information).Chapter 11 and beyond show that the author has no grasp of what cybersecurity is, they are heavy biased opinions. You'd be better off googling the chapter titles.Part 2: Ethical Hacking is half the book, and the author's long diatribe on events that happened and his opinion on things, and random paragraphs of analogy's is difficult to read or follow.

Informative and lucid
Very good book

One long rambling rant
This is essentially a call to arms for ethical hackers. The bulk of the book is one long rambling rant against big companies and national governments. If you're looking for practical information you won't find it here.
