Clamps over a wider area.
If you want to be confident of a perfect seal, I feel this is as close as it gets. Tried out a few clamps for open water swimming, which irritates my nostrils. This one came on top, but it’s like comparing a 93% versus a 99% seal.

Third one to snap, I'm done.
Shape wise I like this clip, it is comfortable for extended sessions and good enough at keeping the water out even when I'm playing rough. My first two broke in the middle, where the two halfs of the mold meet, and I thought maybe im doing something wrong.However, this third one has barely been used, and has been more or less well cared for. I make sure to rinse it very well after each use and dont store it in sunlight.This just planned obsolescence. had the same problem with the first generation of this product
