Works as advertized
Looks to be reasonable quality. Housing is all plastic but sturdy. The mounting plate is not used to anchor the unit as it sits behind the lip of the cylinder. The cylinder and plate are held in place by the plastic nut. So the plate is actually cosmetic but might be useful to cover the mounting hole if not drilled perfect size. 1 1/4 hole bit works perfect. Does not come with any wire just the spade ends.

Volt meter with plug for charging phones
I like the fact that this product has a volt meter. I use this product on both my motorcycles. It saved me a tow truck bill when it showed my battery wasn’t charging and I was able to get home before my bike died. Another nice feature is it has it’s own power switch so it will work with key on power and direct to battery power.

Looking to add a volt meter and USB 3.0 fast charge? try this product
Install for me was a little bit of an effort because I had to mod my lower dash in my car. after I drilled the hole everything went together smooth. The PRICE was great compared to others I researched. It is a true FAST charge. I have a Note 20 Ultra and it charges it just as well as the stock Samsung charger I was given. I recommend this product to anyone that need something like this. I also purchased a second one for my JD Gator so I could connect speakers while working. 5/5 stars.

Just what I needed
Easy to install and really looks nice with protective plug cover. Off and on button is nice.

Cover flap doesn’t stay closed
It seems to work ok but the weatherproof cover doesn’t stay closed. It pops open all by itself

I replaced the old cigarette lighter on my boat. I like the volt meter, it helps me to keep an eye on my battery and charging system. My only complaint is that you have to turn it on each time. There is a power button to turn it on. Not a huge thing. Would buy again.
