GM Genuine Parts 20835553 Driver Side Door Lock, Mirror, and Window Switch

Works great! Only driver window will work until the dealership program it to work with the rest of the vehicle. Check wires in door jam they could also be the reason why your locks or windows are not working.

This switch was an exact match for the one I was replacing for a customer of mine.. when I plugged it in, there were less working buttons than the one I was replacing.. when it didn’t work properly and I sent it back... i was refunded 106 of the 126 I paid for the defective switch... if you’re looking at buying one of these, I would look elsewhere or you might get the same switch I received.

Ordered this to replace switch panel on drivers door, fit perfect and works. Great price compared to GM parts stores.

RE GM window/door Lock Switch: Great Value, but this Switch's Lock Function DOES IN FACT have to be programmed by a dealership or shop with OE Programming capabilities. My California GM Dealer charged $210. Perhaps the Seller should add that disclaimer to the product description.

...keep in mind the vehicle electronics needs to be "flashed" for this to function properly. That's another $100 or so. (Still cheaper than taking to a dealer) Installation is super simple. Original switch and bezel are held in by clips at each end. To remove, simply pry straight up. Swap the connectors, swap the bezel, and press it back down into the arm rest.

Works as expected. Easy to install. After replacing, only the driver window will work. Have to take to dealership to have Body Control Module flashed. About 15 minutes and $75. Inconvenient for diy’ers but not the part’s fault; thanks GM design.

Just like a bunch other reviews, this didn’t work. Will be returning. Only driver window works. Research shows programming doesn’t work. So will go to a junk yard and plug n chug till I get one that works.

This part doesn’t light up like my factory part did. Also it has to be programmed by dealer which cost me $200 and that was with me installing part!

Easy to install and works great! It does require programming of the door module controller that needs to be done by a dealer or automotive shop with a proper computer to complete the necessary programming. If not programmed switches will not work properly and you will think device is faulty.
