After learning I'm Vit. D deficient, and after taking prescriptions strength Vit. D. weekly for 3 months, this is my go-to on a daily basis. It's better to stay out of harmful sun rays that will age you fast and could potentially cause malignancies, and take this supplement than the former. Don't underestimate the ill effects a Vit. D deficiency can have on you - this is a pure form with sufficient IU's/mg to be of value.
