I bought these for a cylinder head porting job to clean up after grinding with a burr and sanding with flap wheels. They’re very good on aluminium and leave a smooth ‘satin’ finish, just what you want for head porting. If you want a mirror finish then finish off with felt polishers and metal polishing compound. They don’t last particularly long, but I only used about 10 to finish off a 16-valve head. One think worth noting, they come in four supposedly different grades with different colours but I could find absolutely no difference between any of them! All left exactly the same finish.

They are great for polishing my silver work but it would be nice if they did smaller ones. It's hard to get to the awkward bits.

Ok for light cleaning / polishing. Wear out quite quickly and produce a lot of dust ( ie bits of the abrasive wheels themselves). They are like tufts of scotch brite stuck to steel. They work, but don't expect much 'abrading' more cleaning ) polishing. Cheap enough to make them worthwhile.

I bought these to reach those hard to reach places on motorcycle. casings etc. They are great at removing built in and hardened dirt. They don't appear to damage the alloy at all. They are a great way of starting the polishing process. When running them you do needvto keep the speed of the dremel down as it appears to wear the wheel down too quickly. But if you keep the speed down they last a good while. For the money they offer a good way to reach some hard to reach places.
