It took a few days for my dogs to get used to the new tasting water, now they readily drink it. Breath better and mouth in general seems less slobbery.

It’s difficult to give a fair review when you can’t use an item. In all fairness I am sure this would do what it advertises as it was recommended by a veterinary nurse on collecting two of my cats after they had dental treatment. On receiving this I added 5ml to my 3 cats fresh half a litre of water. I only witnessed one cat drinking the water with this in it, but I am sure they must have all done so without my knowledge. I kept using it until I realised that my cats were trying to drink from anywhere other than their fresh water, a cup in the sink the bottom of the wet sink and bathroom basin, anywhere! I stopped using it immediately, thoroughly washed and rinsed their bowl and gave them fresh water with no plaque away. However cats are very suspicious and it has taken quite some time to get them to trust their water bowl again, which has just happened today hence writing this now. I’m gutted that I haven’t been able to get my cats to drink this with water to help keep their teeth cleaner. I doubt my fussy lot would eat food with a powdered version sprinkled on it either.

My small (5kg) dog doesn't drink much water anyway, but seemed to drink less when I tried adding a little of this to his water bowl (in the recommended dose). I think he's just fussy - didn't like the taste. Can't comment on how well it reduces plaque build up, as I stopped using it after only a few weeks. Great idea though - if you're dog drinks more than mine and isn't so fussy!
