One of the best dehydrators I've ever owned
We eat a lot of fruit in our house and dehydrating is a great way to take it with us on hikes or dry canning when it goes on sale and we buy a bunch. After burning out several different dehydrators we have been thrilled with this and its been put through the paces. The first week we did a half a dozen pineapples, 9 bunches of bananas and a handful of kiwis. The second week was all about apple and strawberry chips and herbs from my tea garden. It's used at least a couple times a week since. Relatively easy to clean. We use a nylon scrub brush and it works really well. I was amazed at how quiet it is. Even standing next to it it's hard to hear it going. My only complaint is that it did take some tweaking on temps and times with the various things we've dried. Not at all what the booklet had listed but not hard to figure out either. I do not like the fruit leather tray at all that came with it. Outside of that it fits nicely on my countertop and works beautifully.

Useful and yet so sleek
Love how quiet it is, how nice it actually looks, and how well it preforms. First off it’s so pretty. Its take a bit of counter space but you won’t want to hide this baby away, at least not during the growing season. I’ve done both fruits and vegetables and they have turned out perfect. Having six racks makes it possible to jam SO much into this machine at once! The hardest thing I have found to dehydrate was basil, but after reading reviews on 100 products I think this is basil issue and not a functional issue of this machine. The Trays are a pain to clean but that’s not a surprise. Get a vegetable brush and you’ll be fine! The bottom is hard to sweep out so I just give mine a good shake to clear the debris. Or you could just do better then me and don’t dehydrate tiny pieces on the regular tray. They give you a fine mesh one for a reason. The outside gets warm but not hot. I prefer to run it while I’m home. Get this machine, it will not disappoint!

Perfect
This is my first dehydrator and I waited to do multiple varieties of foods before writing this. I wanted square because it's easier to cut parchment paper to fit to make fruit roll ups or spread chili on it rather than buying special round trays for a round one. I like the 9 tray because let's face it, dehydrating everything takes a good amount of time so I'd rather do as much as possible all at once. The first time I used it I knew it'd need a test run because it is all made of plastic and it definitely smelled like plastic. I made dog treats. Came out amazing. I don't mix meat with veggies I'm dehydrating so I did veggies after that and no smell of plastic. For all of you who claim the door hits the shelves, please see my video. It doesn't. It is user error. There is a cardboard piece inside the back of the machine that MUST be removed. It says to remove it on the front piece of cardboard but I suspect many do not take the time to read. Could also be why your door isn't shutting or your temperatures don't add up to the settings. Speaking of settings, I do wish I could pick 130 or 135 degrees rather than the present of 131 for example. But, I'm probably just being picky. The noise level is like my central air conditioning, not my bathroom vent fan. It's there, but isn't going to interrupt my lifetime movie marathon. I'd totally recommend this for the above reasons despite minor drawbacks. I'd stay clear if you have a problem cooking in plastic.

Solid unit with nice features. Little downside. 5 months later.......
Great price . I like the timer and heat setting options. Nice appearance. Things I don't care for as much are the plastic trays, I should have upgraded to metal trays. I'm afraid the plastic will break. I don't like the door design. It feels flimsy and you have to be aware that it closes properly. Solid unit for the mid price range. I can't speak for the taste. I use it for my dog treats. EDIT: 5 months later. I use this dehydrator once a week for the last 5 months. Making dog treats primarily meat products. Works great. The plastic trays have held up to my not so gentle treatment. It cleans up easily. I accidently left it outdoors and it rained heavily. I thought I ruined the machine but after drying out and leaving it on overnight all the controls came back to life. I was very happy. I bought this during a lightning sale. For the price it has been a work horse in producing snacks for my dogs.

Common reviewer complaints resolved
I want to add a review more or less to help others who have had problems with this unit. Basically, the problems are with the operator not the unit. The main complaints I saw were that the front cover would get stuck on the tray when taking it of and on. The other complaint was that it seemed like it took extra time to dehydrate products. The fix to both these problems is to remove the cardboard on the inside back of the unit. I had the same problems as others until I “accidentally“ pulled it out. Otherwise, this is a fantastic dehydrator. Easy to clean , works great and seems less clunky than the nesco brand. I also want to add that the capacity is deceptively large. It just seems like you the space it well utilized for tons of jerky!

Very fast
I’ve used this dehydrator nonstop for everything from fresh pasta to tomatoes and mushrooms—and it hasn’t missed a beat. It dries evenly across all trays, holds temp well, and doesn’t sound like a jet engine. Dehydrated pasta holds its shape perfectly, and tomatoes come out sweet and concentrated. Mushrooms dry fast and rehydrate beautifully. Super easy to clean too. If you’re preserving ingredients for future use or running a small food business, this thing is a workhorse.

Great Product
This dehydrator is the right size, very quiet, and very easy to clean! The only slight down side is the door is a little tough to open but not a big issue. I highly recommend this product! It works great for drying royal icing on cookies or transfer sheets.

I purchased this for my wife who likes to make fruit leather etc. It works great and is far easier use than the old round version she had previously. She loves it!

Funciona bien. Hice tomates secos.

I needed something to dry my filaments. This worked out great. I can stuff 5 rolls of 1kg rolls in the unit after taking out all the trays. Took my filaments from 30% moisture to 15% in a couple hours. Get this dehydrator instead of those filament dryers. This gets so much hotter, the filament dryers only get up to 40c. Its so easy to use with the simple sensored buttons and magnetic door. Very quiet too. A must have unit for anyone who owns a 3d printer. This costs twice as much as those round stackable units but holds 5 rolls of filament vs 2. I throw a bunch of dry packets inside and use it as a filament storage too. Probably works really well making jerky too😅

I use this to dry 3D printing filament; PETG and PLA. I think it dried it well. There’s a convenient digital interface and timer which was what I was looking for. Fits up to 5 average size 1KG spools with one tray in the lowest rack. I like it! Was worth the price I think. Feels like a quality machine as well.
