Will this fit the Galaxy S20+? (Very large for a cell phone. 6.7in screen)

I believe it will. The rig measures 9.5in across. I have a different phone holder that screws down and I easily put a 3.5 in wide phone in it. For me the max size of a phone would be 9.5x3.5

Can you attach a microphone to it?

You can use the camera internal microphone and record in Video .

It has a 1/4 screw holes on three sides,and has two Cold Shoe Mounts on the top.

Will also work for a iPad?

sorry, the ipad is too big, it is only suitable for installing a camera or a mobile phone
