Installation and setup was easy. Seemed like a pretty good device. I used it to monitor my Dual battery setup on my Travel Trailer. Unfortunately \ This thing failed on me in less then a year. contacted the manufacturer , explained the situation via email. Bob at Trac Outdoor; he told me it sound like it was defective and I sent him my Amazon receipt; after that, nothing. Pretty sorry customer service. So its sort of hard to recommend this product.

Product is great idea, but have purchased 6 of these and have had to return 4 of them. Even after replacements they are still not working correctly. You set them at 50 amps and after a while they will revert back to 30 amps or trip automatically for no reason. Had one that was hooked up with no load connected and kept tripping breaker without anything connected to it. My suggestion is to NOT BUY!!

This thing is a piece of junk, I put it under the hood of my truck. Everything is going fine until it gets too hot and shuts down. I called the manufacturer and he claims it has no thermal protection which the website says it does... Now I have an expensive paper weight

Cool concept but total junk. Failed after 4 months in the open position. No protection to electrical component. Got warm/hot with no load on it. Contacted company and not worth the run around to utilize warranty. Go with a proven marine grade unit.
