Q: Is this a medium point or fine?

The three pack I received were medium point but I ordered a single fine point and much prefer the fine point.

Q: Are these pens both disposeable & refillable or are they just disposeable or can they be refilled

The pens are just disposable. They cannot be refilled. They are great everyday writers and hold a lot of ink so they last for quite a while.

Q: Has anyone who is left handed tried these? If so, do they work better than a traditional fountain pen?

I'm left handed and they work fine for me.

Q: Is the ink water soluble or permanent? I use fountain pens with a water brush to do ink-and-wash drawings. Permanent ink would be useless to me.

According to Pilot, the Varsity ink is not water proof or permanent.
