Q: Will this roller give a stippling texture effect using regular satin paint?

No, you have to add all-purpose plaster and paint together. More plaster than paint. Invest into a heavy mixer and a heavy 1/2" drill to mix it. If not, you will burn up the drill.

Q: Does this roller give an orange peel texture effect or popcorn?

Orange Peel effect which can become stippled if your mix is stiffer for more effect.

Q: What should I use for corners and cut-in where I cannot get the roller close enough?

I use a sponge. Dip it in the plaster and dab it on. Amazon sells a texturing sponge for 5 or 6 dollars. In fact I got so good at using the sponge, I stopped using the roller! Just depends on what size you’re texturing. For larger areas you will want the roller.
