Small but mighty. Don't count this small, plastic sharpener out. Absolutely recommend it and will buy another for a back up. There are 4 holes for different size pencils. I use for my Luminance, Polychromos and Prismacolor pencils. Sharpens to a nice point. Super reasonable price. Biggest reason I bought it is cause another review said it worked great for Luminance pencils, and it does!

Wow! So impressed with this pencil sharpener. I thought my old sharpener did a really good job until I got this sharpener. I use them for my colored pencils so the sharper they are the better they color. I just thought the old sharpener was doing the job but with this sharpener my pencils are incredibly sharp! It cuts smoothly and easily, you hardly know it's actually cutting. It takes 4 different size pencils, and catches the shavings. Love this sharpener!

What a great pencil sharpener! This does a great job with the different sizes/shapes of the Kalour colored pencil set I bought. Many are complaining because the picture shows a total of three but that you just get one! Of course you just get one. They are doing a pic of three to show the one of three colors you will get! I think it even says somewhere in the description that you can't pic the color and one will be chosen for you. You will NOT get all three of them. It is a great price for the value. I highly recommend this product!

I bought and returned a couple of mid priced electric pencil sharpeners. This time I thought I'd try a good old classic. Reminds me of when I switched to a classic single blade shaving razor... sometimes the original way is better and saves money at the same time. I saw a youtube video on the "KUM Masterpiece" (long point) and it was obvious that KUM knows sharpeners. I wanted a point that suited my children and colored pencils better and also a catch for the shavings so I ended up finding this. You quickly get a feel for it and end up doing 50 pencils nearly as fast as a mechanical... you also end up saving A LOT of pencil. Nice, smooth and effortless. The blades do the work. I just got it today and will update this if it doesn't last long. If it gets dull on one blade you have three others you can swap around before needing to buy replacements. Hopefully the plastic holds up to my heavy use. If not, I'm sure I'll be looking at KUM's more robust units. Because these guys know sharp pencils.

I love Kum sharpeners. This brand has ruined all other sharpeners for me. I bought this because as a hobby artist, I sharpen pencils a lot and I was using a wooden Kum sharpener Kum 107.02.01 Wood 2-Hole Steel Blade Pencil Sharpener, Colors Vary much to the chagrin of my husband who would get upset everytime my makeshift pencil shaving trash can got knocked over by our toddler. So, much to MY chagrin I bought this and it doesn't disappoint. One side is perfect for my prismacolor verithins (which a lot of people have issues with breakage and I'm convinced it's because they don't have a suitable sharpener), and the other is perfect for my faber castell graphite pencils and prismacolor premiers. This DOES NOT sharpen to a long point, nor a short point, but a happy medium. Its sharpens very sharp, makes long clean and neat shavings, and will keep on going so dont over sharpen. Shaving are collected nearly in the container. My only complaint is that sometimes the little over shavings of lead will spill out the side that is upside down making a little mess. Probably wouldn't happen if I took more breaks to empty my sharpener...which I hate doing. So I'll probably bring the makeshift trash can back to sharpen over. Won't the hubby be happy.

Cons: You don't get to choose the color you like. I hoped for blue or lime green. Received pink, my least favorite color. The largest hole in the sharpener will not sharpen pencils with large barrels (Magic FX Jumbo pencils) the reason why I purchased this product. The Pencil shavings are loose so yo need to be careful when you open the latch to sharpen your pencil. Pros: The pencil sizes it does accommodate sharpen decently. There are four protrusions on each end which allows you to stand it up on a level surface. Easy to pack away for when you have your art work with you away from home. I recommend this product for travel use and or for a quick sharpen during a project.

I'm irritated that you get one, instead of the 3 pictured. I'd planned to give a couple out as gifts to fellow coloring enthusiasts, but was very irritated to only get 1. Nice sharpener but not 7$ nice.

BEST pencil sharpener for color pencils ever! Keep this as a dedicated sharpener for colored pencils- and get the little KUM 2 stage long point sharpener for graphite pencils.

This sharpener is excellent. Perfectly sharp -no shredding of my expensive pencil crayons. I love it and have already reordered so I have an extra on hand. I have 3 small complaints which obviously didn’t prevent my reordering. 1. The numbers which indicate hole size are printed on the canister but wore off almost immediately 2. Because it has sharpeners on top and bottom it can become quite messy with the sharpenings coming out the other end. 3. The barrel that holds the sharpenings is really small.

Lama buona ma nonostante tanti fori, le matite non vengono avvolte dal foro a cono che risulta troppo largo… difficile temperare adeguatamente…

difficult to get use to but if you move the sharperner rather then the pencil workd good

Estos sacapuntas realmente funcionan de maravilla saca la punta de mis colores en forma delgada sin romperla o trozar el lápiz, es el primero que me sirve para mis colores de forma triangular y también para mis lápices redondos, si vale la pena el costo.
