Tenax Ager Color Enhancing Granite Sealer, Marble Sealer, & Stone Sealer - 1/4 Liter

This granite sealer/enhancer is fantastic! I used it on our small bar sink in our living room area. It’s a rough granite that is extremely porous and stains very easily. Despite endless scrubbing and trying several methods, I could not remove the water spots. This covered them up and gave it a nice sheen. I have included before and after photos. I plan to use it on my kitchen countertops next. It was very easy to apply and certainly worth the price. I purchased 2 bottles because I wasn’t sure how much I would need for both projects but very little is actually required. I definitely recommend this product!

Tenax Ager Sealer is made in Italy and was formulated for granite countertops. It is food grade safe. Once this is used to seal granite countertops, no food, wine or juice will penetrate the granite. Tenax Ager is an excellent product for sealing your granite and stone composite countertops. Without Tenax Ager, if you have a new home with granite countertops and someone spills wine on your countertop, that wine will permanently stain your countertop and there's no way to get that stain out. You'll be stuck with it and will have to spend thousands of dollars to replace your countertop.

This sealer should get 10 stars! Very little instruction on can, so we found a demo on youtube. I applied with a lint free rag. This can will last us a lifetime. It goes a long way. Waited5 minutes. Then wiped it a few times to make sure there was no standing liquid anywhere. It’s not like it pools, but you just don’t want any excess. There was barely a trace of extra. Waited 1 hour for it to cure and put my stuff back on my honed granite. It has a “wet” look. Not shiny. It looks amazing and is so fast and easy! I included a pic, but it really doesn’t give the true look. The camera makes it look shiny. I have honed granite. It helped to pull out some of the natural look. Water just beads up now. Worth every dime.

I have a black granite countertop. The previous house owner made a circle mark probably by placing a hot pan on the countertop directly. I tried different cleaning agents and toothpaste, but failed. After reading reviews on this product, I decided to give it a try. First I sanded down the circle with 600 grit sandpaper. Then, apply this product according to the instructions and reviewer's suggestions. It worked partially. I mean the mark is not visible when wet, but I still can see it from side when the countertop is dry. Well, at least it is not very obvious.

I have been using Ager by Tenax for a few years now and there is no substitute. We have leathered granite in our kitchen, and it makes the colors more vivid, more rich, and protects the countertops for a good 6-9 months - and I wipe them down constantly as I cook all meals from scratch - and I maked doughs and noodles on my countertops. I also use this on my travertine tiles in our foyer and guest bath - it just protects beautifully and brings out the richness in colorful natural tile. In our guest bath we have a soft ivory travertine, which this did not darken, but brought out some pretty striations in the natural rock. This was once made in Italy, I'm not sure where it's made now, but I can't do without it. In fact, when we had another leathered granite countertop put in our coffee bar, I brough out the Ager for the countertop installers and they both said I knew my products and Ager was the best choice!

Keep my counter top very nice

Ager had absolutely no effect whatsoever on our granite kitchen counters, ie., neither color enhancement nor gloss. However, it worked EXTREMELY well on our lovely patio tile table & firepit, making both completely new again. WOW!

This exceeded my expectations. We got granite counters when we renovated or bath. When they were installed we noticed some deep scratches. The installer came back and sanded them out. This however left the sanded areas looking dull and old. He told us that essentially there was nothing they could do about that (I knew they could but it would be too costly/labor intensive). We decided to leave it alone. I began researching online and kept seeing people suggest using a color enhancer... I went on Amazon and started looking at the products available. It had been around a year and the counter needed to be sealed anyway. This had great reviews so I decided to give it a shot. Don't get me wrong, when you look at the counter from close you can still see that it doesn't have that resin coated shine and it looks a little old. But this product made a HUGE improvement compared to what it was. From a few feet away it looks as it should. It definitely brought out the dark color and improved the shine. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a sealer and/or color enhancer and will be using this forever

Although I’ve using and working with sealer a lot, and know the procedure on how to apply, this sealer made my granite countertop super sticky. Won’t recommend
