Satisfactory replacement part.
Why I bought this... We have a 2001 Corolla LE. The actual tail light assembly was not bad but some of the plastic bits had broken off of one of the bulb sockets. This was a problem because it caused the bulb for the passenger side brake light to keep popping out. The part that was broken was a clip that catches a ridge on the male end of the bulb and holds it in. I could not find that exact wire harness here on amazon. I didn't want to buy it anywhere else because I don't want a bunch of accounts on every website known to mankind. The only way to get the parts I needed was to buy the whole assembly. So, there's not a lot to say. It comes with the bulbs and all the parts I needed. The old one was easy to get off (technically you're probably better off if you have a deep well socket in the right size but frankly, I just used pliers because I didn't have a deep well socket in the right size. Anyway, it went on easy enough. The bulbs were all good. Everything works. If I had anything negative to say, I would definitely agree with the guy who said the fit and finish isn't exactly perfect. It looks a little wonky along the top edge (you can even see it in the Amazon photos). If you're really looking at it, it's obvious that it's not quite as precisely made as the factory part and is of somewhat lower quality. But then again, it's a 20 year old car and the original factory part lasted this long. I'm sure this replacement will last longer than we keep this car at this point. A brake light that doesn't work reliably is a safety hazard that nobody needs so $50 is not a bad price to pay for that. I might have attempted to get the OEM part if I'd had the inclination and the price wasn't significantly more. I don't know how much the OEM part would cost and probably don't want to know. If it works and it lasts 5 years on a 20 year old car, good enough I suppose.

Perfect replacement
When you're taking off your old light, just know, that thing is in there with those super clips!! So If you mess up and pop it in before you did everything right, dont pull on the lens of your new one, you will rip the lens right off then you'll need aquarium glue to put that back together incase you mess up lol good luck bois

Fits okay, but not so good quality
Somebody backed up into my car and cracked the RH tail light. I ordered this piece as a replacement and i am satisfied to a good extent. However, there are some downsides:1. The trim is of low quality, especially the top edge. You can clearly see the red lens not fully covering the top edge of the assembly (see picture).2. The bolts are kinda short and are only zinc plated! Usually, quality auto bolts are plated with zinc then finished with yellow dichromate which gives better corrosion resistance than clear chromate.3. The color is slightly brighter than the original OEM piece (not a big deal, though).4. The light bulbs are cheap and the filament is so thin. If you still have the OEM bulbs, better use them.Overall, the piece fits okay and does its purpose. Though i'd have been more satisfied if the trim was of a better quality.

Very Happy!
I read a review from someone who said they had probs... screw studs too short and top of trim showed where orig didn't, bulb filaments look weak or cheap... Get a life! The studs were plenty long enough, the trim pc covers if u just move the unit up a little bit as there is some wiggle room... as for the bulbs, they work fine. If you're worried, just save your old ones in case they do burn out... But as far as I'm concerned it was no muss no fuss... and if these things still bother you, then go pay Toyota $400 or whatever ridiculous price they're demanding! Looks great works great!
