This my third controller, they keep burning out.

Reliability of product is questionable
Purchased two RGB ropes, each with their own Power Supply.Conected the RGB ropes in series and only used one Power Supply.The Power Supply failed after several months of use.Installed the second Power Supply and it too failed after several months.This is the third and fourth Power Supply we have purchased.Will let you know if and when it fails .

You need to check the model number, it is not a universal type.
There's nothing wrong with the product but you have to be aware that it doesn't match up with many of the excuses
