Is it possible to take this reciever apart and waterproof it?

Yes it is. It may void any warranty.

i have a tamiya esc tble -02s and a futaba s3004 servo.the wires are not compatible with the sr515 reciever.is there a adapter i can use?

You might look on ebay. I am sure someone makes them. If your dead set on using mismatch products you may have to make you own adapter

Will this bind with a dx4c ?

Should bind no problem. I have 3 of them bound to my DX5C.
