Honestly I picked this toy cuz I thought it was cute and hoped that my easily bored 1 year old dog would find all the "kernels" satisfying to chew on.This toy is higher quality then I expected! Has some weight to it but not too heavy for the pup to carry around all day. The squeaker is still going strong even after a month of solid squeaking (much to my ear's displeasure) and I don't see him destroying it in the near future.He loves to chew it, carry it around, throw it, hide it, tug on it, anything he can think of. This became an overnight favorite and I'm very pleased with its durability. We got another popular toy on Amazon in the same order and it's already a lot worse for wear, while this one only has has the rope part come unraveled, the actual corn part still looks brand new. Extra cute if you've got farmers in your family!

My dog has a habit of tearing up toys in just a few minutes, so far, this toy has lasted a few days, the rope is already showing signs of wear.I wish there was a way to attach a new rope when this one goes...She is a mid-sized dog with a LOT of energy, and she's very destructive, digging, chewing on things she's not supposed to, etc.This helps with that, she can play with it for a long time, we don't have to always 'check' to see if she is tearing something up.She loves grabbing it by the rope and swinging it around the sides of her head, it doesn't hurt her, and she LOVES this toy. Out of ALL of the toys that we have bought her, and that she loved, THIS ONE has been top dog to her. We love watching her play with it, it also wears her out and she'll then take a nap, which is always good.Oh yeah, the size if PERFECT for a mid-sized to a large dog, I'm not sure about any smaller dogs. She can squeak the squeaker on it fine too, but not at first, she had to 'find out' how to do it on her own.As far as chewing it into little pieces like one person has said, I can't attest to that, and I hope that is not the case.I will return if she does end up chewing it into pieces, because she in known far and wide for that! :)

Squeezer broke on third chew. Chewed thru rope within 10 minutes . But, it looks the cob will last a long time.My dog loves the cob as a chew and fetch toy.Yes, I would buy this product again knowing the short comings.

This toy is amazing. It has held up to two pit bull dogs, one is a big boy with strong jaws and teeth. It is constructed out of a tough rubber, but it is pliable enough to fulfil their chewing needs. It has a squeaker inside which is difficult to make a sound and when it does squeak the dogs are surprised by it, which is funny to watch. Both dogs have had many hours chewing and fighting over it.

Sounds like rubber against my dogs teeth. Value was great for the money a not to expensive. My dog loves it. Chewable but doesn’t get tore up fast she chews on it for hours. Rubber material not plastic. Not soft maybe the string rope but not soft.

Not indestructible nor for aggressive chewers. My dog broke it into a bunch if kernels which could’ve been easily swallowed or choked on so I had to throw it away and scavenge for other small pieces

The cap on the end of the string came off right away & my puppy ate it. The strings got all unraveled then & he started to eat those. Why have that, IDK. I cut the strings off & our puppy has enjoyed chewing on the cob of corn. That part is strong. It's so strong/hard I can hardly squeeze it to make it squeak. I would buy again, but cut the string end off right away.
