Sturdy, large, easy to secure.
Large enough, sturdy, easy to attach, secure, and it can be easily reconfigured to leave one seat open. We have a large dog kennel sitting on our back seat of our Ram pickup, which takes up 2/3 of the seat. I like to leave one seat open for my German Shepherd to use on her route getting up into her kennel. So, I folded one end of the bridge under before I secured it. (Without the second headrest tie, I just pulled the strap around the headrest and used an overhead tie-down spot in the rear overhead area. Secure and out of the way.) Our dog stands, shifts around, walks around inside her kennel without any tipping or insecurity. It’s large enough to fit most all of the back seat area except right next to the back portion of the rear seats. I did slide in some old towels rolled up to bolster the very rear few inches, which helped level it out.) I’ll never have to touch it again. It works like a gem. My dog jumps onto the floor board area, then jumps onto the seat, then walks into her kennel. Very secure. Nice materials, should last a long time. Very sturdy. Looks great, mainly hidden. The front seats can be moved forward and back without much effect.

Sturdy and adjustable
This is so helpful - worked extremely well for my 100lb dog on a long car trip. Love the way you can adjust to only 2/3 of the seat.

GREAT solution. Just a bit wide for my backseat.
I was thrilled to get my first sling, and my 82 lb GSD ripped through it in short order. Why? Because the wheel well behind my back seats was like a FL sinkhole. Every stop--fast or slow--he hit that empty void and it finally gave in to his claws.I saw this product and it fixed my issue. It provides a solid platform for him to stand, lay down on, and slide forward with braking...all without falling into the abyss. The ONLY three minor things I see as a problem are:1) It is JUST A TAD wide for my FJ Cruiser backseat. I wedged it in anyways and it fits.2) It tends to flop a little on my back seat since the seat angles back. Not a big deal, but occassionally it has a little drop. Playing with the tension on the seat straps has helped.3) My search dog gets really dirty, and the design of this alone does not keep dirt from getting into my seat cushions.Solution: I bought an inexpensive sling cover that I put over the top of this. It would rip without this, but when supported by it provides the water and dirt protection I need. All of this while keeping storage space behind my front seats in the footwells, and protecting my pooch and the upholstery. The ONLY reason I give it 4 stars is the fit and the inability to keep dirt/water out of the cushions. Combining with an inexpensive sling makes it the best combo that I have found. It should last a long time.

Our bulldogs love it!
I have a 2019 Silverado and we take our dogs with us everywhere. Just plopping them in the back seat is fine for trips around town. But, we were planning a 16 hour trip to Florida and they needed more room to spread out. This product worked PERFECTLY! The white bulldog is 46 pounds and the big guy is 91 pounds. Because this thing has plywood/hardwood, it doesn't bend or give at all. The polyester material does a great job of protecting the truck seats. However, it is very "slippery" for our bullies' feet. I added a twin mattress egg crate and a sherpa blanket on top and they absolutely love it! It was super simple to install with 6 nylon straps and buckles that go around the front seats. It was easy to unhook and pack away for the trip home as well. Thank you so much FrontPet!!

Platform is NOT HARDWOOD
I have a very sturdy dog. After shopping / reviewing several of these types of products, reading details on composition, and reading reviews, I selected the FrontPet Backseat set-up because the product description says it has "a hardwood interior platform." This is not true at all.My dog weighs 160 lbs, so all of the other options - which use some variation on cardboard or foam core - just were not going to cut it. This product arrived yesterday and I was very disappointed to discover that the inserts are NOT hardwood. I think it is a stretch to describe them as rigid at all - even with just a little pressure applied, they are bendable and pliable.I believe other reviewer(s) commented that the adjustable strap system is specifically designed to work on seats with 2 post headrests (as in the product picture). My front seats (Tesla) are not optimal for this configuration. In terms of installation: piece of cake. No struggle there (seat form-factor excepted). The product construction build appears to be high-quality. Did not rate "durability" because I have only had the product for a few days.I'm almost certain I will return based on the misrepresentation of core material, but the sub-optimal strap design for my car seats are another major consideration.

Great product - much better than other designs
Great product. Much better than other designs I've tried. The boards are stiffer and they cover more seat area, so that's great. Doesn't cover the full seat but I have a full size SUV and it is meant to fit smaller SUVs as well, so I expected that. The pocket is a very nice touch - really like that. However the pocket should be facing the front, not the back. The driver is one who will use the mesh pocket, not the pet. LOL I installed it backwards (upside down) so that I can put my purse in the mesh pocket from the front seat. The pocket works great for that. But installing it that way means the clip for the bottom strap is on the top instead of the bottom where it should be. Oh well, I made it work. I then covered the whole thing with a "hammock" seat cover so having the clip on the top doesn't bother the dogs. Would be a good design change to have the mesh part face the front seat. I'm guessing they made it the way they did so it could be used with a bench seat. I've always had bucket front seats. Maybe offer 2 designs. Thanks! :-)
