I trust this brand - this has helped me with decreasing the severity of period cramps. It makes getting vit B, C, zinc and magnesium a breeze.

This has totally changed my evenings. I sleep well but falling asleep has always been a problem and these seem to have taken that problem away - I can hardly keep my eyes open by the time I get into bed where previously I’d have sat on my phone or tossed and turned, wondering when I’d fall asleep. Life feels more smoothed out too, with less extreme highs and lows. A friend recommended them and I’m so glad they did.

These are effective. My mum tried these and told me how she found them. When taking supplements it is not always easy to know if they are making a difference especially if your body needs to build up its stores. I felt an immediate effect after the first night but wanted to be sure. I followed the instructions – away from food and 30-60 before bed (implies best with another of its product ‘Unplug’ and also can also take during the day)- and I wanted to see the specific effects on my sleep and in isolation. Every morning after I’ve taken two at night I have woken up with that feeling of having slept deeply. Not noticeably longer but deeper. Did this for a few nights in a row - same effect. Then because things were a bit calmer in general didn’t take them for a few nights noticeable difference and more related to external factors disturbing my greater ‘lighter sleep’ periods. So over a few months what I have found works for me (and this is a personal view only) is that I take them ‘when I think about it’. What I mean by that is when I feel particularly stressed, haven’t perhaps had much time to myself to chill and am conscious that I need ‘a good night’s sleep’. I am aware that that for me (and possibly others) at times that might mean a need to take them most or every night (or day). These supplements come in a frosted glass jar with a pink label which I think tends to associate these with ‘for women’. They are made up in part from 3 forms of magnesium with vitamin C and B6 and zinc which men benefit from too. Maybe it is because B6 is particularly associated with possibly helping pregnancy nausea (although need to ask health professionals before taking) and with aspects of PMS and menopause. However it is described as ‘an acclaimed stress relief supplement’ and ‘ladies issues’ whilst major for many, are only one aspect. Hope these ramblings and insights help as I would say these are worth a try as a relaxed sleep makes all the difference to the day. As such. with the ‘immediate effect’ this supplement can have it would really help to get others buying if there was a ‘trial pack’ with an associated cheaper price – I would definitely try other Motion products if they were in this form. So at £24.99 for a month it feels a bit steep but with replacement now on the horizon I need to balance this with 'cost' of a bad night’s sleep.

To early to tell if it’s effective

I am a big fan of Motion Nutrition, I've been using their other supplements Power Up and Unplug for some time and so was excited to add Hormone Balance into my routine. I've been taking 2 capsules with Unplug before bed and I am sleeping better than I ever have, my energy is great and I generally just feel fantastic. I've also found my usual hormonal breakout hasn't really happened which is great!

I can't say these had any noticable effect for me, and I have to say the claims made for them are silly - "make better decisions" for example? I do think the company is being silly here with such overblown claims, even if they did make me feel calmer I think it would be a stretch to make the life-changing claims they use in the marketing. They're quite large, I didn't have any trouble swallowing them but I never do, so if you struggle with larger capsules take note. They might work for someone else in keeping them calmer, and they had no ill effects for me, but they didn't do anything for me either.

Feels like there stuck and don’t go down properly ! Just give you heartburn and feel uncomfortable
