(I only have upper dentures and real teeth on the bottom). I've seen a lot of reviews on this product and most of people that have a problem, it is with cutting and fitting the pads and overall hold. I found that cutting the pad and making a cardboard template of it until you find one that works and keep that template. As far as how it works, it does not have the hold of denture adhesive cream, but works for most foods, but for really hard or difficult foods the cream still works better, but what is nice the pads clean up so fast you can easily take the pads out quick and put cream in if you know you are going to eat difficult foods. The best thing about this product is how easy it is to get out of your mouth and clean off the dentures compared the adhesive cream, which is a chore and can lead to sores in your mouth over time just from removing it.
