Yay! Owner loves collar, dog...not so much.
Worked in less than TWO minutes with the most stubborn Yorkshire terrier pup I have ever encountered. She's a runner, and by runner I mean she ran into the street every time she got the chance. Watched every YouTube video available to train your dog not to run- nothing worked on her. We've been at this training for the year and a half we have had her. my husband began to think she had a learning disability (like thats even possible). So I decided to give this a try- put it on and only pushed the vibrate setting as soon as she bolted out the door. Stopped her dead in her tracks (not literally). I never considered using a shock collar because I thought it was cruel- but I haven't even had to shock her yet, only vibrate her little neck! I figured this is a better solution that having to scrape her off the road someday from her behavior. Yay! I love her new colar (way more than she does).

Worth it's price in gold.
This product at first, scared me because I thought it was like a taser or something so I tested it with my fingers to make sure it’s safe. The shock is strong but not strong enough to hurt or kill your dog. Real simple to use, testing is easy, and results are amazing. I have a German Shepherd and nothing could get through his little stubborn head. After the groomer trimmed around under his neck I found the recognition level but thought he was going to go "off the chart". Then it happened, all of a sudden he started to back up and shake his head. "Found it". Chasing chickens is not so much fun anymore and he just looks at them. He watches for me and still tries it when i'm in the house, but I watch with the window open and catch him every time. He is not relating it to "ME" but his actions. This is the best product ever!! Worth it's price in gold. My dog is changed overnight.

best purchase I have made in a long time for ...
best purchase I have made in a long time for controlling my cocker spaniel 5 month old puppy from jumping and scratching my patio screen door. I did have a screen guard on the door but on the sides of the guard were little exposed areas of screen he was starting to ruin. This collar took care of it within a couple days. Other issue's I have used it for is the pup chewing on my outside flowers as well as lawn mushrooms that possibly could harm him. Highly recommend!!!!

but he will continue with his bad behavior almost immediately
I have a 1 yr old stubborn husky. He got so big so fast we were really struggling to get him not to jump on people. He's overly friendly and often scares people because of his size. A shock collar seems so cruel I didn't want to put one on him, but nothing else we were doing was working. I read through the very basic instructions the collar came with and even watched a few videos online. I put the collar on, had to use the larger prongs it came with because of his hair. After a few times using it, there was a definite change in his jumping. With him though, the vibration works as a reminder, the shock does nothing. I can tell he feels it by his reaction, but he will continue with his bad behavior almost immediately. I was hoping I would be able to not put the collar on him at all after say, a month of keeping it on, but no. When he doesn't have it on it's right back to his bad behavior. This could just be the Husky attitude though. My neighbor has the same collar on his 1 and 1/2 yr old black lab and it works like a charm on her. She was actually the reason we decided to give it a try. So, it did help, but certainly not as well as it has for some of the people who reviewed it.

Our English Shepherd & Border Collie could distract easily as puppies and the vibrate snaps them out it
Only complaint is vibrate button is tiny, & that's the only one we've ever used. Our English Shepherd & Border Collie could distract easily as puppies and the vibrate snaps them out it, it only took using it a week & they learned fast. Good to stop barking fits too, upon first bark we hit vibrate & they'll stop immediately. I also would suggest a total disabled shock switch, we are always scared we'll hit one of those on accident.

Works well, battery life is excellent.
This collar works great on our 6lb Maltese. We never have to shock her. The vibration is enough. The battery life is impressively long.My only real complaint is that the vibration lasts at least 2x longer than seems necessary. It's not a deal breaker but the dog will have stopped doing the bad thing long before the vibration stops. I haven't timed it but it seems to last about 2 seconds.

Great collar, great price!
Thank you for some peace back in my house. I love that there are different shock levels to use (probably won't ever have to use anything but the 1, maybe the 2). Although, the vibrate usually does the trick. We have to charge the collar about once a week. A 9v battery goes in the remote, but we have not had to change it yet. We are very happy with our purchase, not to mention the great price!

Train your pup
We use this a lot when we had company or when I took my little pup for a walk’s it really helped out a lot the only thing that really upset me as well and somehow I lost the rechargeable part and I couldn’t use it any longer... but it’s well worth having
