Definitely impresses with the quality of the build. Solid construction and easy assembly. Best part is that it fits (unassembled) under the rear seat of my truck. Well worth the price. Have to admit the safety flag is a little cheesy, but I already had a flag I use, so no loss there. Paired it with the Attwood Canoe Carrier Kit to safely put the canoe over the cab and bed without scratching anything.

This bed extender worked great for transporting lumber to rebuild my deck. The quality of the parts is acceptable, I was a little worried by some of the other reviews but the one I received had no issues with the welds or hole misalignment, overall everything worked as you would expect. The paint could have used a bit tougher coating to resit scratches better but given the price I think is acceptable, just have to make sure to maintain it accordingly. The T bar has a bit of a loose fit, maybe 1/8" but I think this is by design to accommodate load vibration, however a wood shim or simple pressure with the straps securing the load should work, I had no issues. Of course with this product or any time you are transporting oversize loads you need to make sure they are properly secured and be aware where the center of gravity for the load is to avoid overloading the extender. On the attached images I used a 2019 Honda Ridgeline, with the factory hitch receiver. With the tailgate down the bed is 7ft, and 10ft +/- to the crossbar. The first trip I transported 3 pressure treated (wet) boards 2"x12"x16' so the load extended 6ft past the support bar. I would consider this to be the top of the safety limit for my configuration, I would not try to transport anything longer. I would also recommend some visibility aids because with loads extending so far past the end of the truck is easy to misjudge turns, especially right turns. You will need a 5/8" receiver pin if you don't already have one. All other assembly pins were included. Finally, this is my experience and yours may very, please make safety your priority and research/reciew load limits for all components

Item arrived (a little later than expected) was well packaged. Item is sturdy, easy to install and gets the job done. Price was right considering and I would recommend item - although I am not sure about the 750 pound limit.

I’m not easily impressed, but I have to say for the price the quality far exceeds it. I’m sure it will make some rattling noise as seen in other reviews, I can live with that. I like the ability to break it down, but man is it ever well built. This is exactly what I was looking for to complete my kayaking adventures. I could not make this for the price they are charging. So far I've taken a few trips with this kayaking. I recently downsized from a 21 year old Tundra with a 6'2" bed to a Santa Cruz with a 4' bed. This fits the bill perfectly to be able to grab some lumber or transport a kayak. It is solid. Not too heavy, easy for me to handle on my own. It is a little wobbly in the hitch receiver itself, but not too bad, and it is the only thing I've used in there, so I don't know if that is the hitch or the bed extender. And at least for kayaks, once I strap them down and repeat "that ain't going anywhere", it doesn't move at all, so I don't worry about hauling for long distances and having it rattle around the hitch. It is easy to adjust the height and width. And, right now i have room in the garage to keep it assembled, but it would be easy to disassemble for storage over the winter or when I need the room for a project. I have a decent slope to my drive - it bottoms out my motorcycle if I hit it wrong and a little too fast. The bend in the hitch doesn't look like too much, but it does the job and doesn't come close to being a problem with the kayaks. Overall, very happy with the purchase.

Works great to extend my little short bed pickup. I have used it for kayaks, but will definately try to remember it the next time I have to go to the lumber yard. Only complaint is that the flag really doesnt have a way to attach to the end of whatever is hanging off, it only hangs off the extender.

Item is exactly as described. Prompt delivery. Appears to be well built. It is a little bit loose at the connection points. I don't think it will cause any problems. I haven't used it yet, but Sunday the 22nd will be the test. I am going to use it to help carry long pieces of lumber for a home project. If I have any issues I will up-date this review.

-Missing pins - I’ll have to go to hardware store, it’s not worth my time to return. -fits Ford Maverick hitch. - does not come with the proper size pin for the hitch either.

This extender is so easy to use, it's sturdy, and it's well built. It takes 2-3 mins to put on or take off. I definitely recommend it. We used it to haul wood several times, 14 foot deck boards, and it was perfect. Great value here!

This was much stronger than I anticipated. Made well and function well. Wish I bought this years ago.

Works great for hauling longer items. Solid except u bar could be tighter. Also wish that it had some places to hook a strap onto? Easy to put together and take apart, even has a red flag.
