This pot is phenomenal! For anyone who hates to deep fry because of the splatter, this is perfect due to its height. It's great for anyone who has just 1 or 2 people to fry for.

Love this little fryer!

I bought this pot because I steam a lot of vegetables. However, after owning it for ten days, I have used it almost every day for many other things. I have steamed asparagus, corn, broccoli, cauliflower and baby new potatoes. I have also used it for a shrimp boil, pasta and soft boiled eggs. Loved how I could put all of the shrimp in the basket and put them in the seasoned water all at once and take them out all at once to dump in the ice bath. Works well on my new induction cook top and it cleans up nicely. I see my kids all getting one from Santa this year.

Answering some questions that I had to hopefully help others: *This fryer can hold ~25 chicken nuggets worth of food *It works with induction *The basket is about as 'thin' as a typical mesh strainer *The pot itself is very high quality with a thick bottom *The basket does not lay directly flat on the bottom of the pot theres about a quarter inch of space between the basket and the bottom (I haven't used this yet to fry, but it seems pretty good so far)

Best money spent on a fairly tall fry pot that doesn't splatter grease all over the place. Perfect for cooking small batches of fried foods. I love this pot. Great for spaghetti and asparagus

Great for deep frying, but I find it most useful for hard-boiling half a dozen eggs or cooking single servings of macaroni in the basket.

I don't write a lot of positive reviews because it seems prices go up if I want to reorder something I reviewed positively. But this cooker has been so helpful, I want to share my experience. I ordered this for cooking pasta - mostly spaghetti. I was worried that the mesh size would be a problem but the spaghetti stayed in the basket. It would also work great with elbow macaroni, ditalini, and rotini - the three pastas we use most behind spaghetti. Most spaghetti cookers are from 7 to 12 quarts. The only 7 quart I find is All-Clad and quite expensive. After a long wait for a pasta cooker that works for dinner for two, I tried this and I am glad I did.

It was not as fast as expected it was too little and it don't cook good

Love this veggie steamer and use it every day. Great for squash, fiddleheads, greens and anything else that can be steamed. The strainer has a handle that makes it easy to lift out and drain any liquid
