Just the perfect rope, as you expect and hope it will be.I bought a different rope in a store first, but even though it is adorable (cute wooden handles), that rope is too lightweight -- you have to use too much strength to get it to move fast enough to get over.Whereas this is the perfect thickness, length and weight for my 6-year old right up to my 16-year old (and the others in between!).I was so delighted that I bought three more in different colors, plus two of the 16' ropes (for group jumping).

The rope is good but received purple instead of blue.

These jump ropes are amazing for kids! We have gone through many jump ropes over the years as I have 4 kiddos. Either the handles end up breaking or the weight of the rope isn't heavy enough to swing accurately over their heads. This one is so great because it's a perfect weight, plus you can knot it wherever you want to make your handle. I love to jump rope as part of my work-out routine, and my kids are now jump-roping machines too!

My first grade grandson loved this rope and took it out to every recess the last three months of the school year. He mostly used it to tie to the top of the slide and pull himself back to the top. He and friends also played horse with it. He never used it to jump rope. It was very durable with everyday use.

Well it's a good rope for kids, but NOT for adults. I am 5'7'', it would be better if it's a bit longer. Also, the middle of the rope should be designed to be heavier so that its movement would be stable when being played.

Tired of dealing with handles that didn't allow the rope to pivot/swing freely and the injuiries my kiddos were getting from whacking themselves with wooden handles, I ordered three of these jump ropes. Wow! What a difference! Nice heavy weight ropes that won't fly away in a breeze, and nothing but a knot to hold onto instead of a wooden handle. Now, if you are trying to knock your sibling's teeth out, I will admit, this is not the jump rope for you...but I could recommend a few that will.

What a scam. I just paid almost $10 for a piece of rope with knots on the end. Jump ropes usually have handles.
